Default What are these on this civic?

guys,i`ve seen these two sensor type plugs on the hoods of many cars,(modded ones).

what is it?sum kinda sensor or what?

oh man...that car is sweet....the stock looks like nothing in front of the mooded one...nice wheels and the carbon fibre bonnet!!!

cant say what those "things" on the bonnet are

no wayz dude the nhc sux has no power nuin the civics got class

they cant b compared at all...
performance lookwise civic is better fe nhc is excellent...

Well, i think they're usually used in high speed cars and rally cars to prevent the hood from opening (at high speeds).

Those are hood pins which help hold the hood down... its for safety so the hood doesnt pop out while running...

Nah. It aint. Honda claimsits 40% more FE then the OHC but its a mere 15% plus OHC pulled away at 3000RPM but the NHC needs to go all the way to 6000RPM to leave traffic behind so overall the NHC gives lesser FE then even the OHC..

my cuzins honda 3 mths old realli well maintained n well driven gives him average of about 16-17 in city wid ac n 19-20 on expressway
