Default ECU tuning for 320d

Do you guys think this would work for our BMW 320d in India. It'll boost it's power to 218 ps and torque to 430 Nm. Those are impressive numbers. I am a little worried about the diesel fuel quality available. Any other worries? Please share your thoughts.

Don't think there would be an issue. However, it seems more like a tuning box and the figures seems like more exaggerated to me.
There are quite a few tuning box available here, Pete's, Racedynamics ECU, Tunit, Superchip. All these should work fine. Check with them as they are easily available here.
You can also check with Custom Code, UK for a remap available for it or not and we do have dealer for them here in India.
Celtictuning, UK does have a remap available for 320D.
No doubt tuning box are safe option but I would always prefer a remap over tuning box.

A remap is better and safer to an extent but it will void warranty if detected by BMW. Hence it's better to stick with a tuning box since it's plug & play. These tuning boxes work well here from reviews I have heard.

go in for the Petes, have heard good reviews about the box. Its safe and you get the excellent Service support offered by Petes.

Pete's Automotive Products Pvt Limited

They have a Box for the 330d(Which Model is that?? Its not sold in India I guess), contact Peter for your requirement.

Tuning boxes are definitely better in terms of warranty issues though. Are there any tuning boxes available in India for the 320d? I checked pete's, they only have that for the 530d and their figures are confusing. They state that the stock 530d gives out only 204 bhp.

For the kind of support we have in India, a tuning box is best. Look up this discussion (Feedback needed on Skoda Remap!) for an interesting comparo between tuning boxes and ECU remaps (in the Indian context).
