Anything beyond 250 needs racing clutches and upgraded differentials and flywheels (the costing is very very massive believe me). Exciting eh?

Cheers~
Arush
not only this arush you need a better computer, bigger turbo, better gears, bigger intercooler...the list goes on....also we dont have the infrastructure here to tune a computer efficiently..a wide band alone will not suffice.
a mod to 240 bhp by a good tuning house will cost you 2500pounds.
brakes are a good 1000+ pounds
lowering suspension is 150+ pounds
the 240 bhp includes only modification of the turbo, exhaust and computer!!!
the brakes are teh porsche kit its a 4 pot!!

Hey iceman, yes youre spot on with all the works involved, the stage 3 kit i was talking ab out incldes a bigger turbo and intercooler stup. i didnt want to get into too much detail but the main difference being in between the cost estimate, im sure we can manage all of the same within 9-10 lacs at the max instead of the 16. And yes all off the reporgramming work shall be done in europe itself we do not have the infrastucture as yet. (all of the lancer and city chipping being done as of now in india is more or less a trial and error thing nothing permanent).

well arush that price is including the labour...which is the most expensive in Europe. if you are going to buy the parts and do a DIY it will be cheaper.
whereas i would prefer gettting it done by them rather than getting the kit down.

Like most of my fellow T-Bhpians,I too feel that 350bhp from a 1.8T Skoda is kind of hard to digest.Let's see the merchandise first....
