| Senior - BHPian | nice car. nice paint. the company is awesome at doing that. how much did the car cost you ? how much you spent on mods ? i see no engine work done here that is good. how many miles on the clock ? i see scorpio wheel caps earlier. what was the first owner thinking. anyways if you look at older pics the dash fittings was perfect. after paint i can see gaps in the dash. the big one is on the right side near the steering. get it fixed.

| BHPian | Looking hot!! Wonderfully done. Not to take away from the fabulous job, I miss the characteristic BMW chrome beading along the windows. The wheel design's cool but did not like the black. Guess that's a personal thing. Overall wonderful job mate. Enjoy the car and nice to see an owner who actually values it.

| BHPian | The work is brilliant. Clean and tidy. My favorite part is the.. Quote:
BMW achieved a strong market identity and presence due to the E36's high quality and "really fun to drive" character. Really good to see an enthusiast who values one of the best BMW designs!

| BHPian | Thats a great looking car. A very tastefully executed restoration job with no over the top mods. At the same time the car looks business. Are you using an aftermarket muffler? Me thinks that a regular twin pipe muffler would have completed the picture. Top job!! Drive on, Shibu

| BHPian | @jesal: thanks dude. the car has done 48k, the engine was prestine thus no work on ot, jus the regular stuff like oil change, air filter, oil filter etc etc. sorry, i wont like to discuss money matters here, but trust me spent a bomb on her, only the M3 steering wheel costs me one third the price of a fully loaded nano, hehe. the previous owner didnt care for her, thus he had 2 caps from the xylo and 2 caps from the bmw. the dashboard space is there in the pic as i took the pic while the ac filter was being replaced which is placed at the back of the under dash. @pranav: thanks for the compliments, yeah shes neat. there is no chrome beeding in a e36 anyways, there was defenately a chrome border on the front twin grill which i painted black to go with the black alloys which i love. anyways thanks for your views, appretiate. cheers @ shibu: thanks dude, the end can is an aftermarket replacement as the original one got completely rusted. i agree with your thinking but this too looks cool @ petrohead: thanks man. i agree the seats have come out great. took a lot of time and effort to choose the right blend of exterior col, interior materials and colours and the alloys. i think the result is just what i had in mind, classy with a sporty touch. | BHPian | Car looks awesome, job well done. A small suggestion, if possible replace the number plate. Try getting that one with the "hologram" thingy, the numbers are embossed and evenly spaced (you know it projects out, hope I used the right term) and IMO would improve the looks. Pics of the engine please. ![]() |
