Default Baleno cup holder lid

Hi
I bought one Baleno LXi 2006 model last week. The cup holder lid(in the middle of the front seats) is broken. Tried to get the same from the dealers like Sagar and Mandovi, they told me that i have to wait for 15 days and have to pay in advance ~1500.
Any chance i can get one for cheaper price in Bangalore?
Where can i get a decent fog lamps which fits correctly in the provision provided? tried few car shops in jaya nagar, jp nagar couldn't get one.

thanks and regards
nissam

Is it the lid that broken or the hinges?

Try Hot Tracks for the fog lamps. Check this thread:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...ps-baleno.html (Fog Lamps for Baleno)

I would suggest you buy MGP or SGP foglamps. According to my chat with Binz, the prices have come down drastically.

Thanks for the reply. The lid is broken at the hinge. Will check the MGP/SGP foglamp price this week and update here.
@audiophile
Any contact number for Super Cars?
Meanwhile the mechanic in mandovi suggested fitting the lid with some mini door hinges, bit hesitant to try that since it looks neat now and fits with the magnet in front, but i feel so bad when it comes out :(

Bought Fog lamps from JC Road (Auto World, 9008801360). It is local made but fit exactly to the provision provided, it has the plate behind which fits correctly to the fog lamp fitting option provided in the bumper. The guys did a good job, they removed the bumper fit it back without any issues and looked professional. It cost me Rs 800 including fitting charges. See the photo.

DIY - repair the Baleno Driver arm rest/cup holder lid

here's my way of fixing it, cost me less than 50bucks over 1400 the price of that original cheap quality box.

Picasa Web Albums - don.rajah - Baleno - DIY

Would appreciate if someone could collate them into a DIY article here

Pretty much how I had repaired the lid in my car. Around 2 years back. I've additonally used some Fevikwik too, to stick the leather 'hinge' to the plastic. It's been working fine. Just feels a tad 'loose' compared to the original.

I was quoted 1500 too for a replacement lid.

Fog lamp provision for Rs.800/- . May get it fixed during my next trip to Bangalore. Whats the specifications of the bulb that was fitted? How long the installation took?

My cup holder too have given away. The DIY stuff seems to be beyond my skill level.. wanna try with quick fix stuff
