Had i seen this thread a few hours earlier i would have got details on ANHC as i just came back from a party where there were not less than 20 ANHC parked.

Yes, a cost cutting measure I would say.

A few MUL cars had no door switch on passenger doors that is usually connected to the interior light. If you take a look at the volumes of cars manufactured and multiplied the cost of 3 extra door switches, the cost saving for the company is significant!

I have always wondered about that white patch. Noticed it first time in punto. But now i know the answer.

Makes me remind of helmets. Compulsory but rarely found at right place :-)

It is not correct in MUL Cars. My Ritz has the door light switch in all the four doors. Even if the rear door passenger does not close peoperly the light is on. Days are changing and the things are also getting better with MUL too.
