hey there... currently except for the MGA you have just one set of lamps (cant realy call 'em fogs) available in the market... these are taiwan based and retail for 750 bucks... ofcourse.. you have the entire range of hella.. which come with their own peculiarities w.r.t fittings... but if you looking for something to fit in exactly in the OE slot.. then just these 2...
Now.. with the original ones being exhorbitantly priced in comparison to the utiltiy provided.. i ultimately settled for the taiwan ones... but yes.. have ensured that they have been fitted with abundant caution... as in using a Bosch Relay and a routing them through a fuse..
And as for wires.. the only link up is to thr battery.. no other wire snapping or cutting (rather none that I am aware of)
Coming to the utility bit... does it help... yes.. in terms of throwing up enuff light.. but no exotic stuff like "Cutting thru fog" etc happens when you switch em on...
So... net net.. good looks.. good light.. safe wiring.. thats all.....
