Hey Acedj,

They are most commonly known as the BSA 282. (hyper-silver finish).

They are 14", and i dont think you will get them in 13" for your zen. sorry.

a set of 5 14"ers should cost 15-16k.

Default My Friend(Car) Ford Ikon 1.3 NXT

Hi
Got a Ford Ikon 1.3 NXT(2003 Model) 2 weeks back. Took him for a trip to Konai Falls(Near Chennai). Here's the picture of my new friend,

Would like to add a Spoiler ,Skirts and the 1.6/1.8 Ltr Sporty Bumper. But Showroom guyz shocked me with the Cost of the Above said. 45k for that Bumper+Fog Lamps alone!!! Can anyone suggest a better cheaper option? I saw a lot of add on kits for Accord in this forum. are similar ones available for the Ikon too? & how much do they cost?
Guyz sorry if I had asked these questions in the wrong Thread.
cheers
kishore

banged up behind a maruti 800 in a minor city accident...4 cars in a row sudden braking scenario...
getting it rectified this weekend..
PS : I do find the braking of Palio's/Sienna's little "spongy"..I mean braking is not that effective when i push the brake pedal initially...

Taken from phone.. no digital camera bought yet !
Will post more photos when I buy a digicam

It's totally a stock carb zen98. So far it have reached 50.5k. It's a pleasure to drive and is still very much peppy and responsive.. gives me 12-13kmpl with 50% AC. At highways, it gives 16-17kmpl with full AC. Was planning to get a new wheel and a set of new rubbers.. but the idea was shot down by my better half, because we may sell it next year. Front right side panel's paint is cracked.. seems like the original owner pained that side and the paint quality is not good and have developed cracks over time.. time for another paint.
This week saw a white color cora sail gsi (sedan) near safina plaza.. I was amazed by the mods done on this corsa... although it was a white color corsa and squeaky clean with total black tyres and absolutely marvellous 5 spoke wheel (imported.. not the usual Aura, BBS, HR or neo). The detailing is really good.. I wish I had taken a picture.. is it owned by any BHPians? I really got influenced by the mod.. more because it was stark white and although the wheel was total chrome color and still looked really realy cool and classy with mimimum stickers (I think it was not stickers, it was probably painted) and two short antenas.

turbo lover : nice looking corsa but you should spend more time waxing it to make it shine a little bit.

protege: personally i think your car would look better with the bumpers painted black.the body coloured bumpers dont suit the white zen.

edmund:...what can i say your 19xx maruti still looks good love the alloys and if im not mistaken you have upgraded the suspension right ??

love the last pic.
