your car looks exceptionally well mentained considering her age.
we have a similar car (same year as yours) in the family but its currently being "maintained" by someone who'z not a car person - basically its not in very good shape - but its a wonderful car, easy and cheap to maintain/repair and gives excellent mileage - though original spares are slightly difficult nowadays.

enjoy,

ps. (Addy - sun raha hai kya be? - maybe its time to get it back in shape)

That ding on the front bumper happened when a moped went under it while I was on the wrong side of the divider at 60kmph. :P

Since then, I've had the front bumper replaced, body work done, painting, got rid of the hubcaps, had the rims painted black, got rid of the door rubber things, new license plates, new lights.

I know its only a zen, but I can't say enough how proud I am owning it.. its my first car, and the one that I used to teach myself how to drive manual
i had the same wheel caps on my golden esteem

I have a Chevy Tavera and an Accent CRDi.The Accent has a good Pioneer ICE (not full blown,as my Dad drives the Accent most of the time),Retro-fitted OE alloys,Michelin rubber, leather and a K&N replacement filter to top it all off.I haven't got any good photos of her, will take a few tomorrow.
The Tavera's mostly stock, except for an average MP3 player,Retro-fitted OE fog lamps,a fourth mirror on the tailgate and the two-tone paint job as seen on higher-end versions.Only the paint job can be seen in the photos.Planning to get alloys and better rubber when her present set wears out. Will post newer ones with that of the Accent.
My Tavera, fresh out of the paint booth, only a few days after buying her.

hey edmund,
ur car looks great for a 85 model.
where did u get those tires from???????and how much do they cost???????

i suggest that u shud not repaint ur car and just do whatever underbody work has to done.
it looks superb bb

i am always against adding those bigggg round fog lamps on small cars ,but this particular model of the M800 wud definitely rock if u add a pair of bigg hella's or maybe even 2 pairs on the bonnet just above the front bumper.
it wud definitely get the 80's Quattro rally car look, with side skirts and bumper add-ons.

The M800 twins, '84 and '85 respectively. The first one (DIC 2018) is mine... inherited from my dad when i was 15 and still drive it every once in a while.

It has been repainted five times in the last decade and everytime its a new color, recently its been changed to white, this pic is a year old. Notice the alloy rims? they have been on the car since '93. The car has done more than 5.5lac kms, thats not a typo, 5.5lac kms it is, with one engine overhaul at 2.75lac kms and the car still zips to 140+ anytime u want it! Now thats what i call a true japenese engineering marvel!

Autopsyche, do justice to the cars pal, better quality pics please. They really seem to be well cared after. A certain old wise one has quite a stunner of an old M800 too. Ohh, old wise one, that photo shoot we talked about is long overdue, and you just found yourself another participating car.

Your accent looks pretty good for a 2 year old car. I liked the interiors...nice gear knob...and those are glx wheels...what size are the tyres? because the profile looks higher than stock.

Thanks for the compliment, guys. As most of you have already guessed,my CRDi is shrod with OE GLX alloys on Michelin Certis rubber. The profile is a bit larger than OE,185/70R13 to be exact.I try to keep the CRDi in spotless condition as much as possible.I make it a point to take her down to my workshop, once a month, for a full wash, teflon coating and stuff. As you can see from the photographs, the car has been retro-fitted with the new model's grille, side mouldings and taillamps.Though the suspension and brakes are still of the first generation,I've added the new model booster to the car.It gives the brakes that extra bite, which was seriously lacking in the older models.By the way, that leather gear knob is from the Hyundai Tiburon/Tuscany.It is similar to the one found on the Elantra, but has the Hyundai logo on the aluminium crown instead of the shift pattern.
