| Hi everyone I visited HMP in Chennai yesterday and on Saturday and noticed a new Executive Kit being offered by Hyundai for the Verna. Here's what the kit includes: * Front skirts * Rear skirts * Side skirts * Scuff plates * Blacked out B-Pillars and window surrounds * Rear spoiler with built in brake lamp * Indicators (LED) built in to the side mirrors * Colour coordinated seat covers (probably art leather, but felt like genuine leather) * Colour coordinated steering wheel cover * Rear seat cushions * Extra flexible map lamp for the rear (accessible from the rear seat) I saw a Verna at the showroom just outside (probably one of their test drive vehicles - it was a CRDi manual version) which had the kit fitted and it looked pretty nice. Unfortunately I could not get pictures of that car since it was surrounded by other cars parked there, but I have taken pictures of the big banner / display board which was advertising the Executive Kit and have included them below. Apart from the Executive Kit for the Verna, Hyundai is now offering quite a few genuine accessories like even rear curtains (rear sunshade for the windscreen). Of course these are manual pull down sunshades and not electric. I also found original Hyundai body graphics for the i20. Unfortunately I did not find out the price of these. The Executive Kit for the Verna however, supposedly costs around 40k as told to me by the sales consultant in the showroom. I think for 40k it has good stuff. Reasonably good value for money. And the quality of the components seems to be quite good too as I personally checked out the steering cover, seats, rear map lamp etc. The side mirrors with integrated indicators look really good and the LEDs are quite bright too. I also test drove the i10 Asta 1.2 manual, as well as the Verna CRDi automatic. I shall write about the 2 test drives in the test drives section. Enjoy the pictures below ! Warm regards, Venkat |

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | maruti charges 25k for their bodykit alone. so asking 25k for the whole thing might be a bit too much ![]() |

I thought the skirts itself cost 25K. Add seatcovers, lamps, "blinking mirrors".. and 40K is a decent price. Though I've never come across mirrors that blink ![]()

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | a manufacturer selling it as an OE accessory will have higher overheads than the average aftermarket mods shop. this probably is ABS as opposed to the regular stuff which is probably FG. And then it will need to be certified , tested etc. If Honda can sell ANHC alloys for 80k, I'm sure most people will find value in this. Though we may not ( we might know a tuner/modder who does FG work/Interior specialist who can do this for cheaper) buy this, there will be a lot of others who will. | Senior - BHPian | Instead of offering an executive kit, Hyundai should do something about the looks of the car (in my opinion, it does not appeal to me from most of the angles). |

| Just thought I'd let you know the individual cost of each item on the Kit - * Front skirts - 3670/- * Rear skirts - 3670/- * Side skirts - 6884/- (for the pair) * Scuff plates - 482/- * Blacked out B-Pillars and window surrounds - 1045/- * Rear spoiler with built in brake lamp - 4284/- * Indicators (LED) built in to the side mirrors - 959/- * Seat covers + Steering wheel cover + Cushions - 6999/- * Extra flexible map lamp for the rear (accessible from the rear seat) - 553/- So the kit doesn't cost 40 grand. Its only Rs 28,546. I ordered the kit (minus the seat covers and other interior stuff) and paid only 20,000. I'll post pictures once I get everything installed. |

I must say that at 25K that kit is a big steal . and me thinks HMIL is tryingto coverup the fact that they have discontinued giving rear disc brakes in the ABS versions as well . But still at he prices quoted above these look good mods are a very compelling buy . Given the fact that you are also gettin hyundai branded or recognised articles. i still feel very let down by hyundai because of downgrading the braking systems and providing these "bling" mods at a cost ! | BHPian | Is it possible to get only the Scuff plates and Extra flexible map lamp for the rear seats or is it I need to purchase the entire kit. I would love to spice up my verna with these two accessories. I have a good spolier on my verna. How much for the rear curtains (rear sunshade for the windscreen)??? The mirrors with indicators seem like a real steal, but in India, is it worth it with the number of guys who keep hitting the side mirrors in traffic? Imagine having to go and get it fixed every time you get hit! ![]()
