Question Suggested engine mods for Palio D

Hi,
I own a Palio D AW(Formula Red) and would like to pack in more power into it's 1900 cc engine. I read a lot of posts on K&N filters; but doesn't know any reputed service outlet in Bangalore who do modifications on cars. I just want to enquire of the option I have and do them if viable. I am not that much interested in external fittings, but in adding more bhp & responsiveness to the engine. I have also heard that there are certain chips available in market to enhance the engine timing and tune it for sheer performance. Can you guys please suggest me some workshops/garages in Bangalore who are experts in modifying cars.

Thanks & Regards,
Jacob

Check Rtech's thread on Pete's box. It gives 20% increase in power, but is quite expensive mod. (For his Scoda Octi 1.9TDi, it upped the power from 90bhp to 108 bhp). It is available for Diesels. Check with turboindia and Rtech for more details.

But the Pete's box is only for Turbo Diesels which Palio D is not. I think the older model Fiat Siena is turbo charged. Wish they could have turbo charged the new Petra D.

I asked Pete whether he has any box for the Siena TD but sadly he doesn't...

yup, the palio d - just imagine what a souped up 1.9 L engine would do to that car...can't wait - hope someone comes out with some performance enhancers. i think the problem is that with so few around - it's quite possible that nobody would bother to make anything for this little wonder of a car...or it would be too expensive...
