9 bhp for all that money...The power boost is, as they say, "slight enough to be psychological"....

Where did these guys get a dyno anyway...I thought the only tuners with access to a dyno here in India were the ones from Coimbatore? (very old information, if anyone knows otherwise please advise)...
Of course, Mr.Hingorani's gas flow rig is famous right from his 80s track days...

the rear seems to have been raised for traction ..RWD's make great launches ..
the pic i saw ..the amby was up against an optra..

i think those modds are just listed to show availability and advertising purposes...

The interiors look too flashy...and what's the point of modifying so much when your gtting a small boost of bhp??
BTW all those dials...how do you manage to kep a track on all of them?LOL

I agree with Mclaren, if the bhp is to my liking (shouldve been in the +25 to 35 bhp increase)
then i want one. specially the quad exhausts...must be sounding like heaven....motoring heaven

Respect... First modder i see who isnt too boastful about the bhp figures he does! Exterior mods look tasteful, interiors overdone.

true the interiors are overdone quite a lot..could have gone in for a lighter shade of upholstry..would look more appealing as there is nothing much u could talk about the car other than the looks, ooppppsss!!!! ofcourse the incredibly low boost in power after aaaaaaalllll thaaaaaat mods...

I was referring to Raj Hingorani's (of Methods Automotive, Bangalore) Gas Flow Equipment which he uses (used?) to mod cylinder heads...It was famous in the 80s cause it was (and maybe is) the only one...

We need to look at why he gained only 9 bhp at the top.....maybe its tuned for low-end/ mid-range.... Dom, Psycho help needed here...

One pointer is the cam he has used.....BP270..According to his website, this grind is a "Fast road cam for use in otherwise unmodified engines"

the website mentiones 100+ bhp. they have not given a particular figure of 100bhp. So it has increased more that 9bhp for sure. many people including me like the short throw gear shift but it should be convenient which is surely not the case as it looks in this car.
