Rejenuvation/Reconditioning of your car
As you all know that we've car spas across the country & people do go for the same as & when required.
The similar one I've come across is the Glitz Carz Spa (WELCOME TO GLITZCARSPA)
in Hyderabad. These people provide various beautification services for any type of car. I'm confused as to what service I can go for. They provide:
1. Steam, Wash & Vaccum
2. Intensive interior cleaning
3. Paint correction & protection
4. Glass treatment
For more details (along with pricing), I've attached the snapshot of what I clicked from my cell phone (sorry for the poor quality pic)
The sections that they cover under Paint correction & protection are:
a) 3 step Tuff-Ion coating
b) 4 step coating with polymer sealant
c) 6 step synthetic gold package
d) 7 step acrylic platinum package
Under Glass treatment:
a) Anti-glare - For better nught vision, scratch X
b) Nano coating (water repellent) - For better rain vision & dirt repellent
These guys even do UV protection dressing for tyres :o
What confuses me is that is it good to go for 6 or 7 step gold or platinum package? Will it remove the minor scratches from the car? How good is it if compared to 3M teflon coating on the car?
If I'm correct 3M teflon coating stays for sometime & not much long (not even an year) Proabably it gets over once car goes for washing. So if I go for any of the above packages (especially paint correction & protection section), will the shine remain for longer duration?
Any pros & cons?
Is it advisable to give 1 month old car for the above 6 step or 7 step coating services?
Whosoever has gone for such kind of car beauty parlors, kindly share your experience.

Looks very professional though with the job card etc. Will this be done only once or have some time frames between treatments?
Come-on Hyderabadi's its your turn now.

IMO, new cars do not require all these beautifying works (as in anycase new cars will be shining well). How do one know that by doing all these 3 to 7 step packages, will the cars original paint will have any bad effect?
I think until the car is under warranty, one should not do all these private beautification works which sometime may go against the warranty terms, if something goes wrong.?

i suppose nobody will even think of a spa when the car is new, since its not required.
People go for it only when the car gets old. Forget alone the warranty clause of the manufacturer. As i understand the warranty is more for electrical wiring , engine etc.
Does any manufacturer give warranty for paint ???
Its not advisable to take a car which is is one month old to this place is my view.

3M dont have a teflon coating!
please dont get cheated by people claming to give your car s 6-7 layer protection!
these days every Tom, Dinesh and Hari claims to sell Teflon Coating!
your new car needs a fresh coat of wax once a month depending upon the exposure of the car to weather elements.
once a year you can take your car for 3M professional rubbing compounding.
Thats all your car's paintwork need for it to last long....very long!
