Default My Skoda Octavia RS - KIT

Heres my Skoda Octavia RS.

Got the first stage completed. Plan on workin on the performance next. Lemme know what you guys think. Still needs a spoiler. Putting the wrc spoiler. Getting painted. Any advice as to what I can do to make it look better.

Will be posting more pics soon of the side and back.

No offence but an honest opinion : Get rid of this kit. That will make the car look better.

If you are absolutely keen on kits, get in touch with autopsyche. Some of his work is extremely good.

seriously dude if u really want to make ur car look better then pls get rid of the kit asap as gto suggested...the car looks better as stock rather than with kits like these...no offense but thts seriously my opinion...by whom did u get the kit made by the way...i would suggest u to look at the the octavia modded by autopsyche at www.autopsyche.com... looks fabulous now thts what a rs should look like..
for performance u can go in for the petes digital tuning box which gives u a boost of about 20bhp and an additional 7 bhp on fitting a k&n air filter along with a free flow..trust its worth the money spent on this...u could also go in for porting and polishing though..do post the pics of the rear and also where u got this kit done...

The tuning box if for the diesel only i think. Anyway, the mods make the car look too bulky. Try to make/get a less wider front bumper.

yeah dude, the pete's tuning box can be used only for the diesel octavia.so that wont fit in here.
and about the looks,i too feel the new bumper is giving the octy a very heavy look.the original one looked much better!!

LOOKS LIKE KRAP!
You have successfully messed up the look of what I think is one of the best looking cars on the Indian Road.
Congratulations

civic u can still go in4:
1.k&n extreme performance air filter..
2.a well designed free flow exhaust from either raj or shreyas..
3.porting and polishin..
4.irridium spark plugs(not sure what plugs come as oe)..
these should make ur car more responsive not tht its not now...
well pm dominic or iceman for the rest..they will be the best one to guide u on stuff u can do to ur car..

Thanx guys for the info.

I think the side bulge thats giving the car the bulky look. I guess I can have that modified to give it a more sober look.

All suggestions appreciated.

I feel that a stock RS would have been a better bet to keep... no offence intended dude but 95% of bhpians will criticise this kit...Please get rid of it ASAP...

Yes reducing the side mouldings will improve the setup. I know this must be very disheartening for you to hear our comments when you have invested so much to get a better look. However the final look of the car is very assymetric and gives a non uniform and unpleasant look. I can see the idea behind it, but its not well executed. It looks OVERDONE!!! So try to tone it down a lil and make it lil more symmetric.

Hi guys,

The tuning box is only for the diesel BUT..........................

How about this for some performance mods. A remap that too from CUSTOM CODE Uk,

Glad to let you guys know we are now the sole authorised distributor of CUSTOM CODE
www.custom-code.co.uk

Oops we dont have the phase 2 or 3 yet so please dont fire me with questions on that. It will take a month to get us that but phase 1 YES, It will be ready by the first week of September. As i write this we have the team from UK fine tuning the code right here in India. for our fuel and our temperature.......

This is going to be the best you could ever do to your RS. How about around 200 BHP with a 30 mts remap??? and less than 40,000. I am sure you'll be blown,

Hold on for just a few more days guys. We have a killer here.
