Default Skoda Octavia vRS Peted to 300 Horsepower!

Here are some pictures of my neighbours Peted Octavia vRS! This car is absolutely insane! The sound of the BOV and the Milltek exhaust is glorious! I'll let the list of mods and the pictures do the talking (speaking of which, sorry about the quality of pics! )

Mods Done:

1) Pete's Performance Remap
2) JBS04 Turbo Upgrade with uprated fueling system
3) Quaife Differential
4) SPEC Stage 3 clutch assembly
5) Tarox 10 pot front brake package
6) Rear big brake system
7) Bilstein B6 Suspension
8) Forge Diverter Valve
9) Forge Turbo Intake Pipe
10) Forge Front Mount Intercooler
11) UK Spec Springs
12) H&R Uprated anti roll bars front and rear
13) VAG Strut Braces
14) Borbet LS 17" Wheels

The next step?
Our man is planning on getting a complete Engine overall with new internals and an IHI Stage-III Turbo upgrade with an uprated fueling system! This would bump up the power to around 370 horses or so!

Nice find.
Take some pictures during the day , they'll come out better.
Also if possible pop the hood and take some pics.

pretty insane i must say.
but with all this extra power there will be massive torque steer.
A RWD with all this would have made a lot more sense.

Definitely! The thing is, he doesn't stay in Bangalore. He stays in Cochin and his relatives are my neighbours!

He comes down often so every time he does, I demand a ride in it!

P.S. Thing is, he had a white Octavia 1.8T earlier with pretty much the same modifications. He sold that and picked up a genuine black vRS and transferred the mods. A pic of under the hood won't reveal much and doesn't do justice to what this car is actually capable of!

@ Vinaydas,

+1! That is one of the reasons as to why he might just keep it to 300 and not go in for 'the next step'

Thumbs up Hot Mods

Nice Pic update Dude
Looking forward to see wats inside the hood
also would like to suggest you that .. remove the Red big Ugly visible horn from your center grill .. rather go in for nice RS logo instead of those horns

Can u also update the pics of Making of Your Mean Machine .. some garage live installation pics of all your Mods

Note from the Team-BHP Support Staff: Kindly remove images from original post if quoting a reply. This causes inconvenience to the dial-up users.

Cost? Well, he refused to reveal the costs involved, but he gave me a hint! The Milltek system right from the Manifold to the Cat-Back costs upward of 1 lakh!

Here is a picture of his old white Octavia with the same modifications. In the pic, you would be able to notice the massive bumper mounted Intercooler, the Forge Induction Kit, the Neuspeed strut brace and a few components of the Turbo. Unfortunately, when I went over to his place this morning, he was not to be seen! Hopefully, he should be back later in the day! I will try getting better, daylight pictures of the car and some videos too!

@ Shardul

Sorry. This is not my car. This belongs to a friend who stays in Kerala but keeps coming down to Bangalore every other month. His relatives happen to be my neighbours!

Truly insane but passionate work. Is it used on a regular basis or only track/drag purposes?

My experience is and will be limited to the passenger seat only I'm afraid! The owner is very very possessive of his car. And I don't blame him!

About the price, nothing on this car is cheap! You can take my word for it. The whole exhaust system right from the manifold to the cat-back costs 1 lakh +! Those Borbet wheels would be 30k a piece (Minimum) and the JBS04 Turbo replacement is quite expensive. So, you do the math!

This is his daily driver. It's as docile as a hatchback on regular days and when push comes to shove (literally! ) it becomes fierce and crazy! He had installed a stealth BOV very recently and this reduces the 'woosh' factor greatly and the sound of the exhaust is loud enough to instill that sense of passion, and soft enough to live with on a regular basis!
