Here are some more pictures for you guys.

And Some mechanic's as A.S.S know how to do such things, But they cannot do it because its not allowed, A.S.S cannot do any aftermarket installations until approved by the company.

Trust me some mechanic's on the road side are good as well. Its just that they dont have a uniform and a company logo on their backs.

I checked out some Bi-Xenon stuff on e-bay. It appears that most of it is marketed out from Shanghai, China. Don't know if the chinese make is reliable as it comes in real cheap, standard Bi-Xenon with CCFL (Angel Eyes)

The one below is for around $145 (Rs. 6670 Approx without shipping charges) with ebay Buyer Gaurantee...

Chinese Make

This one is from USA for $175 (Rs. 8050/- Approx without shipping charges)

US Make

Hi NoidaBoy.

Good stuff, this is really nice.
What is the distance range as compared with stock head lamps?
Drive safe, enjoy.

Cheers...!

Looks like you painted the reflectors black. In that case you will not be able to use the standard bulbs again. This comes with a D2S bulb correct?

Also, can you PM me the guy from who you sourced this.

No buddy, didnt have the time to touch it till now. I finally managed to be out at night AND have a camera to take a decent pic - here it is:

Projector setup on my Honda city-img_0197.jpg

This is the low beam - I have adjusted the height adjuster to the lowest (3 in Getz) to get a clearer image of how the beam's throw is.

As you can see, the shutter does not seem to be in a straight line, and the beam's alignment / focus is haphazard. Not sure how to get his fixed :(

High beam is a bliss - no problems there.

this problem arises in few car headlights not all though !!! the main problem is the positioning of the bulbs
it can be rectified but need to do some alteration in your car headlights ,if you are ready to do ...

Thanks Smokin. What should I do?

This DIY is only a stop gap, so I am ready to alter stuff. I want to see how much I like it and can live with it - I was told these Chinese things do not last all that long, so want to make sure I am / will be happy before I put in 25k+ for a custom headlight kit (I dream of one with eye brows, separate HID for low and high, et all..!)

The kit comes with options of red, blue, white, etc. Changing the bezel (ring) alone will be a hassle - you have to open headlight assembly again.

I was told the CFL ring will not last for long. Moreover the ring is still on even when the HID is turned on - which means the CFL will be burning away to glory whenever the headlights are on! Is it the same with all such kits?

i think the rings would be connected to the parking lights.if you want them off then i think you could have a cut off switch.

Yes, the ring can be easily changed.

@ ph03n!x
And as for the focus, have you manually adjust the reflector? It looks fine anways

I haven't tried adjusting much - I have gotten used to the beam's inverted "V" now.

@smokin - any tips?
