Question First/Best bang for the buck Upgrade for a Skoda 1.8TPI

Hey Guys,
I have a Skoda 1.8TPI, and would like to know what is the best bang for the buck modifiction for this car for performance.
I was think of getting the Carbonio Air Intake for my first mod, is this a good idea.
Or should i go for something else first, please let me know or any info would be of help.
Thanks guys.
Nanu
PS: With the cost of upgrade, (cant spend lacs just about yet)

Pete's offers a 50 bhp upgrade as the first phase on the remap for the 1.8 TPI the carbonio and the miltek exhausts would be required for the 2nd phase of the remap. The tuning box is only for the turbo diesels (CDI, TDI and CDRI)

more details on the following thread:

nanu: The Pete's 50bhp Phase I remap is the first and foremost thing you should do. Either psycho or we can do it for you. Add the carbonio air intake and milltek exhaust later on to it. And beyond that you can go in for the fmic and a new diverter valve. Thats our recommended way of upgrading ladder for the 1.8T.

PS: tried sending you a PM but ur inbox was full. gimme ur email id to send other details on pls?

Pete's RS is all over this month's auto mags. And that deserves a toast, gentlemen! It's nice to see someone go all out to mod a car in India, and that too from Kochi!I've seen the car a few times, but never got round to asking Peter for the keys.Maybe next time,Peter?

So how much would this 50bhp upgrade from Pete's box cost?

Hi Guys,

I think Psycho and Autopsyche have answered your doubts.

The tuning box is for TURBO DIESEL cars only and the REMAPS for the Petrol RS too.

Hey Nanu i guess your best bet is the Phase 1 remap. If you need any further clarifications please feel free to ask me.

THX coloneljasi for your toast
