Default Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Hi to all,
This is my first post in this forum, so please excuse my ignorance.

I was hoping if someone could help me out. I am living outside India at the moment, and plan on returning in March'06. Was thinking of picking up the Swift, but have heard that in terms of mods it is quite limited because of the fact that maruti uses an older engine from compared to whats offered elsewhere (I think its a g13bb but I might be wrong). Also does anyone know if the g16b can fit into the bay?

Might even consider the new fiesta but just thoughts. Want to decide so i can bring some parts when i return.
Always appreciate your suggestions

Hi Blindrage,

There is lots that you can do to mod a swift in India. A G16b will easily fit into the bay and has already been done in India. I can provide you with the engines as well as carry out the mods for you.

Default Modded Swifts!!

Seen very few Swifts that are repainted and have exterior modifications. Managed to take a pic of one of them. Here it is. Looks really bad. He's painted the whole car red, including the grille. The paint is good, but no contrast colors.

Also seen another Swift with the top painted white. Looks good enough and is done neatly. Will try to get pics.

IMO, the Swift with the black grille looks good. This red grille makes the front look shabby.

Hi Viper,
Thanks for the offer. Definitely will get in touch with you. But as i mentioned not sure if the swift is the way to go!
At present I am still out of India, but was thinking it might be possible to pick a few parts from Japan. Incidentally I am based in Shanghai!! Anyone on Team-BHP also from Shanghai???/
But I would be interested in knowing whats the potential for the swift. One of the few small cars that really looks good!!

FYI in Japan though some Swift dealers have started selling some body-kits, but these are based on the SWIFT SPORT which does look sweet http://www.suzuki-accessory.jp/new_s...ze/index6.html
Sorry if someone’s already mentioned this earlier.

Mods include :
White roof and mirrors.
Reverse Sensors.
Pioneer head unit.
Sun film.
14-in alloys.
Balck vinyl sticker on wheel arches.
Leather seats.
Anti-Rust treatment.
Leather steering cover.
