5.5k for magnaflow??? Be careful you don't land up with fake ones. Go for mild steel headers first. If you want only sound, there are a lot of taiwan made mufflers going around for around 2.5 to 5k. No specific brands.

any particular reason for mild steel headers? someone i know got the headers done on the getz and since then, at low revs the car tends to stall at times.. not really sure if they are connected but yeah....

I got mild steel, never got any stalling problems ever. I personally don't know much about SS headers.

AFAIK - the SS headers lasts longer / looks better than MS headers - thats the only difference.

Its been a few years since anyone contributed in here. Ive just ordered a Magnaflow 14829 stainless muffler from a supplier in Bangalore. I am having it installed on my 2009 Honda CRV AT. Going by the opinions and feedbacks of other members, what I understand is that I am going to get an overall improvement in sound and not much to add on the performance front.

Magnaflow and the BLR supplier seem to say that my vehicles performance will increase by 5-10%.
