I am thinking of gold-plating the emblems on my cars. Any members have information on this such as cost, longevity, etc?

All Gold plated emblems for maruti vehicles are available as MGA. Check out with your nearest maruti dealer. It comes in the range of 500-1500.

Gold plated emblems tend to fade faster than the nickel plated ones... I had a friend who bought the gold plated ones for his OHC (Geniune Honda accessory.. not some after-market one...) and it had faded within two years. If that happens in a place like Coimbatore (about 250-300 KMs away from the nearest coast), you can imagine how it would be in Goa.
