| Guys this thread looks to be the most active one for head light mods. I have a swift zxi. My stock headlights are very poor for highways driving and I want to change them. After carefully going through the thread i find that Philips Blue vision is the winner. Experts in team-bhp please suggest the best solution for me (bulbs + relay + holder + wiring) and also if i missed any. Also give me an indicative price i should pay. Most importantly point to a reliable shop in bangalore please. Many thanks in advance. |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Any suggestions to improve the headlight of the Honda Unicorn? I do 40 kms of highway riding everyday and 20 kms out of the total is at nights when I get blinded by oncoming traffic. I need to improve lighting in order to be sufficient to see the surface of the road bright and clear. Please help. |

That's what I did recently when I compared the Philips Narva's & Hella Gold's. We put one of each in the headlights & then compared them side-by-side. The Hella's won because of their superior throw which was more important to me. For relay you can buy the Roots 130/100 kit which cimes with the relay & bulkb holders & is a simple snap-on fit. It costed me about Rs. 700. | |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Not sure about clear lens bro... My 2002 model esteem sadly doesnt have clear lens. Just ensure you have bakelite holders or wooden holders (ones u get in truck spare parts shops) for the headlight bulbs as these wont melt. |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | You better ask somebody who has shopped from that site, they can tell you better than us. If you are looking for someone reliable, powerbulbs.co.uk are more reputed. You can check websites such as reseller ratings for info, this is not the right thread for these kind of questions |

| BHPian | Hi everyone! In my Ford Ikon, I got 55/60w headlights. It was so pathetic. So, I upgraded to Philips Rally 90/100w. It still seemed so bad. So i tried to adjust the beams to my preference using the adjustment screws, making it just better. I commute on a 40:60 basis on city:highway. Somehow even 90/100w isn't suiting the night driving. I drove another accent with just the factory based 55/60w headlights and that rocked! I was on low beam and it was perfect. Does the Ikon have a flaw in its reflector that doesn't focus properly on the road? Can anyone help? Don't know if it's or not, but where can i get the screwdriver for the Ikon's headlight beam adjustment screws, because I don't want to spoil the screws by using just a plain Philips screwdriver? I tried in Mahavir Autos, Madras but they did not have it. Please I do need it! Already Ford's adjustment is pathetic. |

Also he was giving me pmpo relay and wiring and was telling me they are better that roots. I was not very sure. so i wanted to conuslt you all before going ahead. Also how do you rate cool blue from silverstar. I definetely want white light on my car that looks more or less like xenons OSRAM SYLVANIA - Cool Blue |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Philips bluevision pair should not cost more than 750rs for the 100/90W. He is trying to fleece you, go to somebody else. As for Osram silverstar, bluevision will get you similar light, as will Narva. You need to see where can you get them and also put them in the headlight assembly and compare side by side. |

He has he has better bulbs than that "silverstar" which will give better light in 55/60 watts range. Please give your inputs please |
