Hey m4ugr8,
for the B16 build on the OHC. I went the same way and got a B16A stock build on mine last Dec. The engine is still retard tuned and will run some miles more before I get it re-tuned.
Wanted to know what upgrade did u get around with your shocks to counter the engine upgrade. The ride has further lowered and feel frequent bottoming up. Its currently on stock springs with stiffened struts.

WOW, another B16 build. How about a thread on your own car?? Who build it for you ?? I am running full coil over suspension on my car, I would suggest you go the same way as well. Read through the first few pages of my thread all information there.

Yup, managed to get the stock build done with a thorough overhaul just to make sure I have a perfect running engine. The project rather blew a big hole on my pocket with the actuals exceeding the estimate.
The project was entirely executed by Viper Performance owned by Jignesh bhai. He and his team did a fantastik job I must say. Left overs to finish off are Shocks and Clutch.

Need to decide on the selection of the latter one too. OE or Stage. Any preferences buddy??

I would suggest a Stage clutch, they are better and hold better, are you planning on an increase in power on the later stage ?? An intake/exhaust and ECU will certainly bring out better performance on the car, something you can enjoy.

Jignesh has helped me in my build also, at least guiding me on the wrong bits at least, I am sure he did a nice job. How about some pictures ??

I've got those done along with the the build. Listed below
FFE - Just love the roar
Custom 4x2x1 SS headers
K&N - Had to relocate the battery in the boot
ECU with street map

The first Open Track day at the Buddh international circuit and I had to take this car to the track to see what its worth. This car did not just perform well it ended up being the fastest car on the track doing a time of 2 Minute 46 seconds.

The session in which the car clocked the fastest time, it was running with a Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche Cayman, Merc SLK and BMW M3/ 320ds, accords, cedias etc and the car came on top of all, obviously behind the wheel of my car was Phil who is the tuner and also a very experienced Rally driver. The Porsche 911 Turbo did a time of 3 Minutes dead, It was a delight to watch.

On the long back straight, big big Mercs/BMW would struggle to keep pace with my car, best moment being when it overtook a Merc E240 after entering the back straight behind it, it went overtook it and continued to pull away, Amazing !!

And remember this is my old at least 10 year old engine which has not even been rebuild :P

In a track event a lot depends on the driver and you just acknowledged that bit once again.

Its good to know you car was amongst the fastest cars on the track or the fastest, it will be good to know how many such events the engine is able to perform consistently, that will be a good measure to gauge the durability of the build.

Now this brings me to ask you, what were your times when you were driving it and also how many kms have you driven the car after the modifications done on it.

Kudos to you / your tuner-Mr. Phil / your patience - brilliant !! Please accept my sincere most good wishes. Did you try the Civic Turbo ?

Cheers & have a great time, post videos or else..you complete the sentence

A record to beat. Great going.

Any video of the run. What tyres were you running?
Did you try your hand as well?
