Hi all,
Sorry for not uploading the pic of my car in proper way on the forum in my previous post- my mistake! The original photo was a bit over size. In fact, it was 1.04 MB & hence crossed the limit of 1 MB.
Now uploading the edited/ revised copy of the same..

It happened to decorate my New Fabia for the marriage of a relative of mine just within a month of its purchase. The job was done neatly & almost in the same manner as mentioned by josejoseph in his post, by a local florist in Sangli, but looked quite professional though (& just for Rs.750/-)...
I was a bit anxious about the paint damage & scratches, especially due to the use of the 'THORNY' Anthurium in the bouquets over the boot lid on the top of the car. Fortunately, nothing went wrong with the flowers & decoration made, but it took a lot of time & pain to remove the residues of the sticking tapes all over the metal!!

I see that you are from Navi Mumbai, go to Vashi Sector-17 and there are 2-3 people who do good job and make sure no harm is made to the paint.
They use a Green block which is used to hold off the flowers in place. This is placed on the car via ribbions so no harm done. Below the Green block a newspaper is also placed.
PM me if you require further details.

Thank you everyone for your inputs. I decided to keep it simple and tried to make it look elegant. This is how the car was decorated.

Note: The flowers in the 2nd pic might look not so fresh because it was taken much after the function

just like you put it Simple Elegance.
looks like a very neat job indeed.
so what adhesive did you decide to use in the end?
and marks etc left behind?
did you have a TLC session with your ride after removing the flowers?

The decorator used a big hard block of sponge to hold the flowers. The block was fixed by celotape. No marks left and nothing more than a wash was required.

We ordered lots of flowers from the florist for other purposes. So we could bargain hard for this decoration. Cost of the decoration = an unbelievable Rs. 900. I thought this was very cheap

Well thats great no marks and no tension.
900 sounds very reasonable.
Glad that everything went well.
