Uhhhh... Are you guys talking about pairs of horns? And are you guys sure you got genuine Hellas? The reason I'm asking is that the prices online are actually steeper than what I paid.

@Mithun, I bought them from Emperor, Palarivattom.

1500 bucks for a horn is a bit expensive. Hydra, did you fit them as the standard or with a switch to toggle between the OEM one?

In the Ikon, the horn always is loud inside, I had a look under the car and the OEM horn is fitted behind the radiator, which i feel bounces back to the cabin. I plan to buy Roots Vibrasonic and ask for it to be fitted behind the grille. Is it possible? I think fitting behind the grille would be a more effective location. Can I have you opinions please.

Btw, which horns does the Santro have as stock. It's so good. So soft.

iKON has a clamp location near the left hand side member, check from below, there is a nice clamping point where 2 horns can fit in with minimal exposure to water n all. behind the grill is a difficult task

Ya, 1500/- for a pair of horns is a bit on the higher side, but I wanted really good horns. It looks like I'm going to have quite a bit of highway driving during the next few months, so I didn't want my wimpy horn (that has almost conked out completely) in the car. I fit the Hellas as standard -- no switching between the OE horn and Hellas. The OE horns were removed.

Yes Hyrda sir, genuine Hella Red Grill. I never pay market prices for these things, helps a lot to know the genuine people who wholesale!

Nevertheless, great buy!
