Guys, just as a FYI:
  • There is a Hella Red Grill being sold in India which may/may not come with warranty, but a higher price tag. These are MADE IN INDIA.
  • The genuine/original Hellas are MADE IN GERMANY and are imported horns. They will never ever have a warranty on them since no imported automotive item (mainly horns/bulbs) will carry international warranty.
  • There is a 3rd kind, which is Hella Red Grill that was MADE and imported from SPAIN for a long time (knowledge tell me that Spain was licensed to manufacture these for Hella Germany). And these too, are genuine Hella horns.
The hot seller for the Indian made Hella is a horn known as TT horn, that are installed in trucks. But I can see that the Indian Red Grills are selling a lot now.

Just thought of sharing this information with you guys! Please be aware of fakes and buy from genuine/known dealers!

So I'm guessing both were fake. Thank God I did not buy them.
He quoted 1100 for red Hellas and was ready to settle for 1000 INR.
The Skoda types were running for 800 INR in his shop.

Checked Roots Windtone (he calls Skoda horn) at a local accessory shop, he quoted Rs.450/-. Is it the kind of used in SKoda? How is it? I liked the sound though

Hmmmm, now you're tempting me (even though my Fiamms are doing well).

Price? And do you know anyone who's used them for a reasonable period of time? The only drawback of the Stebels are the plastic impellers which cannot be expected to last very long in our wonderful, dusty environment.

Temptation is the key to young age my friend lol.. sorry!

I will check the cost of the 5 pipe and come back to you. New feature on the Stebel Nautilus is a slot for dust vent, where you can insert a pipe that leads the dust out of the horn into open air HAHAHAHA

Magnum for Rs 850? Very steep! Please wait for my updated ad @ Team-BHP Classifieds.

Is this a new dust vent? even the old nautalis had a little plastic hose clip which you could use to attach a pipe to help avoid water getting sucked in. On the back of the box it suggests to use the hose clip with a hose if you frequently use your vehicle off road.

What would be a good replacement for zen stock horn? I just bought a second zen and the stock horns are pretty low.

I have tried with Bosch FC4 dual tone horn on bikes, will that work on the car?

Whoops! No! It's the same old thing then.

Probably the Nautilus that I've used / been using is too old then, because it didn't have this hose dust vent then..

I just noticed it recently when I got it for someone.
