| BHPian | 1.5k for the Nautilus seems to be a bit fair at the moment given it's unavailability. However, be aware that it's got a very unpredictable life span! |

| BHPian | Sam.k, I have a query here, when I got the 'Red Grills' installed to my Fabia, the electrician didn't use the cut out switch provided with the Hella Package. Instead, he changed the switch to some local make- 'Ideal' (MRP about 80 bucks). No any problem with the upgrade so far. Anyways, what's your experience? Thanks, Last edited by Dr.Vikas : 18th June 2012 at 22:43. |

| I love the sound of the Polo/Vento horns. Can anyone tell which brand makes similar horns? Right now I have a skoda type horn in my Spark but it doesn't work properly sometimes so I'll need to junk it and get a new one soon. |

| Bosch Symphony is weak, i had it on my AStar and it doesn't get as loud as the stock Skoda/VW horns. I had it on my Karizma too and on the bike it was sufficiently loud but that is because horn wasn't covered on a bike. I would suggest those looking for such horns hear to them first before buying it. |

Finally i got to the shop and got the quote for Hella red grill which was Rs.1200. The guy there said we can't instal the relay from the box as you need different wiring for it ? Anyways when I opened the hood I realized the horn I already had was a Hella Red grill fixed more than 5 yrs back. Went to an electrician near by got the whole wiring sorted out and some soldering. The horn sure does demand respect on the road. I love it in Chennai. ![]() A must have in here. | |

| Sorry for the late report. Bought the Bosch Symphony for 461 from distributor in kolkata nearly 3 weeks ago & got the horns fitted to the stock locations a couple of days later. Quite like their laid back musical tone. Thanks for your help. |

| A month back I got this "Seger" brand horn installed in my car. Sounds exactly like the vento/passat etc horns. Costed me Rs 750 and it works pretty good. The sound sure demands some respect. Anyone else tried this? |

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | The nice expensive 'PAARP' sound that comes with the Skoda, VW and other European cars OEM horns is now being used by a lot of Indicabs and others. Indeed I even noticed the other day that a biker had fitted up a horn which sounds similar. The only positive thing here is that these horns have a much more 'palatable' sound than the OEM ones of the Sumos, Indicas and so on. |
