It is not the installation cost - the part itself costs 8490 for Punto Active.

If we can get the same model installed from Autocop dealers for 4850, why buy the same from the showroom by paying a hefty premium?

Let us know how the installation goes at Carax and which model is he getting installed - please share the price details too.

glad to hear that your brother is able to sort it out - please post the model number and the details. Can you please confirm from him that the autocop came with actuators for the doors?
Or, did Carfax gave him actuators as a separate package?

I most probably will be going in the same route (but @ bangalore) , so the details will help me a lot.

Is there any one who have fitted Autocop XS6500 on their Punto Active at bangalore? I tried calling up few shops and direct autocop reprsentative, but every one asked me to get it done from the showroom.

I think many people have got it done from Carax and Bhandari, but want to know any place at bangalore where I can get it done.

I am planning to go for central locking for my Fiat Punto in Pune. Thanks, this information has saved me! I am still inclined to go for company fitted OEM central locking solution but this deal on Autocop seems interesting!
Any thoughts/opinions/suggestions considering 2014 October?!? Please!
