| i feel kimi is the most suited WDC.. he kept pushing till the end and overcame a car that he didnt really know as well as massa did.. and he didnt complain and whine at all.. that speaks a lot about a person lewis, even though it was a magnificent effort from him, was in his rookie year.. rookies should not win in their 1st yrs.. it demeans the WDC and he still needs to learn how keep his focus on winning the WDC rather than trying to win all the races when its not really required in the end. alonso's qualifying let him down BIG TIME and he was whining too much.. too much of a cry baby to be champion Last edited by Hatari : 24th October 2007 at 19:03. |

| Thrilled to bits at the fact that Kimi won the WDC! About the fact that Hamilton will be a force to recon with next season, wouldn't be too sure about that. Mclaren under Ron Denis isn't the most conducive environment for most drivers, this has been reflected in Kimi's press conferences since he has moved to the prancing horse's scuderia. The important thing is that a lot of the car's developmental process depends on pre-season driver feadback, while some might argue that a lot of Mclaren's development depends on Ferrari it can't be denied that the arrival of Fonzi to the Mclaren Mercedes team helped them with their development. Lewis Hamilton while he is fast is also a rookie. the question remains whether he would be as effective in developing a car as his illustrous teamate. Personally I also feel that he needs a crash course in PR, he's lucky that the British press dominate the sport, the FIA had kept him out of the entire Steppneygate controversy and he obliged by shooting of his mouth, another stunt like that in future might just back fire in his face. |

| yeah, At the end of the day thats what we all want it isn't it. So much more refreshing to see it getting decided in the last race. Aditya, it looks like they have appealed afterall. Stage managed is it? Hamilton talks like Saint Hamilton but still Mclaren team decide to appeal. Not good for Mclaren fans and not good for the sport. hmmm...
