Default Button On Pole!!

WOW!! Button beats Alonso and Kimi!!. And guys Schumi is back, P2 for him. Finally, Ferrari back on top. It was sad to see Kimi low in the order. Anyway hope to see schumi win the Canadian Grand Prix, and it looks like he'll keep his winning streak goin.

both BAR's are running very light by the way .. both the mclarens were running a heavy load of gas ... so need not be too happy ..hah..both the mclarens drove perfect laps ...never put a foot wrong ..Poles dont score points ... i dbout BAR will set the pace in the race ... Ferrari was looking good though ...

BAR is running on a very light fuel load....and McLaren are carrying more fuel. Schumi did qualify well but i'm thinking he too is on very little fuel...anyway...want to see a Mclaren 1-2 tomm, and think it's gonna happen tomorrow...

Cheers!!!

We have Jenson Button on Pole Position from the man everyone has written off this year – Michael Schumacher
This will be interesting and very interesting if Ferrari holds on, then winning will be easy but should hold on.

Hope JB can atleast hold on to a podium finish tom. He's on pole but, i doubt he'll hold on to it till the end.

It'll all depend on tyres, pit strategy and most importantly, Button's driving skill and determination.

Very happy to see Schumy's Ferrari on the podium after long. Hope Ferrari get their strategy right and win the race. Both the BARs were very light on fuel, thats for sure. Both Mclarens and Renaults seemed to be heavy on fuel. It will be an interesting race to see.

yeah ..ferrari looking good but i dbout that they can pull of a victory ..

expect a mid race charge by both the mclarens ...
renault's launch from the grid is always a treat ...

i love the montreal track man ,damn entertaining back straights where most of the overtaking should happen ( coming out of the hairpin) ..
to think my housemates drove to montreal for the GP this weekend ..gahh

what a shocker !
i have a feeling that button wont make the podium..
the renaults & mclaren are very strong on race pace
ferrari have finally upped their qualifying pace.. even though michael looks to be on a 3 stop like button
most of the other drivers look to be on a 2 stop.. with th eexception of webber.. who might be on a 1 stop

another important factor for the race will be top speeds achieved
montreal has a long straight leading up to the start-finish line which is a good place to overtake
the renaults, ferraris are close to 330km/hr..
while the mclarens & BARs are just shy of 320
unless button is able to pull away quickly.. he'l be in a bit of trouble

BAR either lacks power or they were running a higher downforce during qualifying .. even the minardi's were touching 321 k's in the straights ...
mclaren were running heavy might be a reason why they were a bit off in the straights ...

correct me if i am wrong ... but isnt the back straight longer than the one which goes up to the start/finish line ?

They had compromised in cornering hence the straight line
