Where is the gear?
The round paddles on either side of the steering wheel are what is used to shift gears in this Pug.

Where are the brake and clutch pedals?
The brake and clutch are where they normally are - in the drivers footwell! The big pedal is the brake and the small pedal to the left of that is the clutch. As the clutch is only used when starting froma standing start and not while changing gears, its made small to stay outa the drivers way. Conversely, the brake pedal is made larger to make it easier for left foot braking.

Where is the gas pedal?
Lol...again, its where it normally is Tom. To the right of the brake! Look closely at your pic again.!

As far as the red/green buttons, I dunno what they are used for. But, these are programmable buttons, so it depnds on what the driver/team want to use em for...there is no fixed function for them and hence may be used for different things in diff. WRC cars.

The dials and knobs on the center consol control a variety of things just like those on a F1 steering wheel. Everyting from brake bias, diff locks, intercom controls, etc etc...

Not too sure. At first it looks like a dead pedal. But it appears to have a hinge on it. Maybe its a type of brake that only operates the rear wheels, like a hand brake?? dunno??

Thats the hand brake.

how do u shift into reverse?

Well i dont know for sure how it works in WRC cars, but in paddle shift production cars like the 360Modena for example, you go to neutral (by pulling both paddles at the same time in some cars) and then there is a tiny flipswitch on the console between the driver's and passenger's seats that engages reverse gear.

ps - Where does the key go in? ...It goes int he keyhole (i donno!)

what key???

wrc cars are nt required to have keys! They simply have a kill switch and a push button start.

Production cars - Group N, have a key which is in the same place as the standard ignition.

yup no key for WRC cars. Slide in behind the wheel buckle up and you flip the master switch on first....i think its the orange swith in the scooby...this turns on all your electriclas....below that do u see a control switch? that will help u shift into Fwd/N/Rev.
There is a red ignition switch which when pressed guns the engine into life.
There is also two diff modes in which you can drive in one is race mode or special *stage mode and the other for normal cruising on transport stages. This is noramlly regulated by the computers on the car.

Anyone know how the launch control works?

Launch control is a device used when launching the car (starting from standstill). LC is active from the point the car starts moving upto a certain designated speed, there after, the Traction control takes over.

LC controls various parameters like "rpm threshold", "clutch strategies", "throttle control" etc that need to be kept at optimum levels for the car to accelrate in the best and fastest possible way.

LC also prevents a car from stalling due to lack of revvs or, spinning it's wheels due to excess engine speeds.

I don't think any sort of professional racing should allow LC on their cars. The driver's launching skills should be given more importance.

Regards...
