Dunlop 3.25 16incher is real cheap around 850 bucks only!!! Speedways costs around 1550 bucks and god knows about the quality. By the way even the Yezdi classic's pic in the website of the non-existent company has Dunlop tyre!!! So did the brand new Yezdi's come with Dunlop tyres like MRF tyres on Royal Enfield bikes???
I know Bhau (Satalkar) is the best when it comes to Yezdis. But the man is becoming older and slower and has too much job at hand. To get the job done, you will have to go and sit with him. But he did wonder with the gears. Now, my Yezdi is like any other bike . Can stop in the traffic and then change gears or fall into neutral!!!
I have also heard about Jikov and its flooding tendency. Got a petrol lock, won't forget to turn it off!!!

Oh Man i think then i made a mistake ordering speedways they cost me 1140 for a single tyre plus frieght extra, Dunlop would have been a good bet.
Please update me the address of the shop where its available in pune.
Also when coming to bhaus work its better to wait a few days rather than redoing the work again when done in a hurry.
Which gears did u use was it vijaydep?
on Jikov your bike will fly.

if new and ordered recently i doubt the authencity of the product as in jikovs the jawas can be tuned to the best dead beats.

Regards,
Ranjit

The slide opens up perfectly and the carb is also ok

Is it due to pressure plate problem on the contrary the gear changes smoothly. Is it because of block piston issues ??

Yes it is, the problem is not with the carb, i am sure that the pressure plate needs to be changed but not sure if this causing the drop in power ??

Dude, check you clutch plates. They might be worn out!!! And check the throttle cable also.

Jawabike, the gear thingy is Bhau's own famous creation. Now the gear is butter smooth too!!!

Ok I have again send the email to you. By the way, I can't send private messages to you cos you have chosen not to receive it!!!
I took her for a short spin today. Exhaust note is okay okay. Have to change the exhaust the tinny sound is missing. She preformed pretty well, went up a hill in 3rd gear and stuff.
Started off at Aundh Road and took her via Senapati Bapat road to FC Road and then later to Katraj. At SB road she stalled, kick umpteen number of times, still not starting. Then took her to the roadside and guess what was the diagnosis -- the newly installed fuel lock was in off mode!!! Switched it on and started off again only to be flagged down by a cop. The cop was pretty curious about the bike -- konsa bike haiiii???. konsa sal ka haiii???, average kitna deta hai??? Showed him all the necessary documents and he let me go by saying Mast gaadi haiii!!!
Drove more than 60km today, will post some pics tomorrow
