@speedsatya: I meant if the price mentioned was for two bikes since it's overpriced to that extent.

hes mentioned the busa is TURBOCHARGED.
which means your looking at anything upwards of 200bhp.
14lakhs would be a good price if your looking out for exclusivity...

Turbocharging kits come for around USD 5000. Busas can be had for 4 lakhs. Do the math... no one's gonna buy a 14 lakh bike.

Don't be fooled by the Busa-is-common talk. Johnnie boy has a contract with Yamaha, which is why he's riding an R6. Previous rides include a Hayabusa gifted by Bips, a ZX-12R, an RD 350, an export-spec RE, and I'm guessing atleast one bicycle.

even i know a dynojet turbokit would cost upwards of 5000$ but in my knowledge they are quite difficult to install and not everyone in india could be able to install one.
i doubt whether we have a turbo busa/or for that matter any turbocharged two wheeler in our country as yet.

Bro, since when do u get proper busas for 4 lakhs.Find me and manson and we'll work for u for a year as a servant.
Moreover, Indian market is different...people dont value bikes with their BHP.But, year, model, make, condition. CBR1000f, looks like u're new to indian superbike community.

It's just a matter of time before someone gets an iBoost kit and puts out 200 rwhp on a Busa. There are enough people to do the install, basically you need neat plumbing.

Nitrous, there are always bikes on sale. Right now there's an '02 silver and blue Busa for sale. No idea on its condition etc, but it IS registered, if it's the same bike I saw. The price is as mentioned.

well thats a different issue.
ofcourse india is going to catch up.
i was talking about exclusivity.
i would sure like to be the first guy in the country to own a busa and 14 or12lakhs seems a fair price to me if i had the money.
4lakhs sure is a nice price man...

@nitrous that was viper bro

Ok, if you were to get a brand new bike at about 7.5 lakhs, and 2.5 lakhs for a turbo kit, another 1-2 lakhs for install charger, that's still below 14 lakhs.

I'm talking about a used bike here. And with the exhaust velocities and insane RPMs that 600s are capable of, it won't be long before you see a turbo 600 putting out 150rwhp.
