Did you give the vehicle at the same place where you bought or at a different place for service?

Initially i thought i will give at a different place but then i visited the ASC(the place where i bought) couple of times, spoke to the mech, enquired how many CBR services he has done. Then, as it was only the job i mentioned in my previous posts, i thought it would not be problem getting it there.
So i ensured i spoke to the Sales manager and Service manager to allow me to stand in front of the bike while servicing and they obliged for my request.

Damage to the pocket.
Oil Filter INR 260
Oil INR 1050 (Comes in 1 ltr can and it consumes 1.5 ltrs, so the remaining he gave back)
Since it a high revving engine , you could have gone for 20W50 also ? .
Why not mineral ? .1K for just oil seems very high .

You are right.
Honda recommends 10w30 or 20w40. Last week there was a service camp and had meet of couple technicians from Honda, Guragon. They suggested 10w30.
I am planning to change the oil again around 2.5k to 3k kms and i am indeed thinking of going for 20w40.

Update
Did another 120 kms appx today morning with 7 CBR's and a HD Iron 883. The more you ride the bike, the more you love and its absolute mile cruncher. This time rev it upto 6k to 8k rpm.
Hoping to finish 1000 kms in a day or so and let the beast unleashed

It is great to know that you are happy with the bike. I agree that it is a mile cruncher which can handle city traffic conditions well - I am in love with the bike.

Hope to join you guys next time.

Cool gear - goodto see you are giving equal importance to the riding gear as well as your CBR. Safety is of utmost necessary.

Good stuff you got there for the riding kit, so the riding boots are pending or do you already have one?

Yes, sure
DSG Acqua - INR 2400
DSG Nero - INR 5400
DSG Moto Mesh Gloves - INR 850
Tankpad - INR 900
LS2 Red Phobia - INR 3000

Update on the Mileage.
It returned 30 Kms. This included 50% Highway and 50% City drive. City drive was actually more bumper to bumper traffic.

The stickering guy screwed up the tankpad alignment while sticking and i find his finger prints underneath. I need to get one more tankpad. There goes INR 900

Thanks Nirmal.
That's a good suggestion, will take a pic of both the bikes and post it. It would be interesting to see that. Both are 250cc but generation apart.

Got the jacket and gloves online(Planet DSG). But they are available at Orion Motors, Opp Forum and Helmet Paradise, Opp Uravarshi Theatre.

LS2 red phobia, was the lightest one which i found in the entire range of LS2 available at that particular dealer. Air flow is decent. I felt the visors are little hard to open and close. Overall a good quality.
But VFM product

Congrats on the purchase rk_sans. Your CBR and in red is a beauty.
Couldn't wish you when we met but after seeing your bike, I headed straight to Planet Honda (its next to my work place) for a test ride. Loved it and I will probably exchange my Avenger for the CBR250.
Hope to catch you soon with the bike.
