Orange alloys

Hope this is the India spec model. I think it may be, where else in the world do they offer the rear tyre mudguard? ( a la D200)

Can someone spot any indication of it being the ABS version? The point about the India spec hugger is a good one - these are probably the field test bikes being readied. Not the early lot Euro ones like the first 200 of the Duke 200 last year. If you notice, all other chasses in the photo are black.

P.S. Top marks to Motoroids for this scoop!

it is Powerdrift who have been uploading the recent pics on their Facebook site.

Regarding ABS, if you refer to image with the bike in assembly line, you will observe back wire running over the rear disk. That is for the ABS IMO. What do you say...

The last two motorbeam pics show the tonering. So yes, ABS.

I might buy it. How much are Duke 200s going for in the resale market?

Probably a lakh. Anything over that may be a bonus.
Would you wait for a while or directly go with the bike as you did with 200?

I'll probably wait for the turn of the year to get something on two wheels.

Please tell me you're joking?

Someone wants to get a year old Duke at the price of a brand new NS?

Sorry bro. The Duke will always command a premium for those who know what they're getting. Especially Dukes that are just a year old and sparingly used.

And especially since the Dukes are now 1.5 on road (compared to the 1.3 when we bought them).

I bought a Classic 500 for 1.5. Used it for around 4000 kms. And sold it for 1.45 when it was close to 1.6 on road. Of course the 6 month waiting helped.

I guess it's a little city specific too. In the NCR region, the second hand market is fairly competitive and the used bikes/cars go for slightly lower than the logically expected price.

However, the D200 may fetch you slightly better value since:

1. The prices have gone up significantly since the launch.
2. There must be very few of them available in the market.

So, my original suggested quote may be on the lower side.

on the Pulsar NS point. Most folks looking at the KTM will not consider buying a Pulsar. Any Pulsar. 200cc, 375 cc, 500cc, or 800cc. Nothing. I know I wouldn't!

I agree. Resale prices tend to be higher as you move fom north to south. Bangalore prices in general are much higher than Pune and Mumbai.

I just picked up a 07 KTM 450 EXC. If the duke 390 motor is anything like my 450, which it probably will be, its going to be a riot. Here are some pics of my acquisition.

Dirt and Supermoto trims. I have two wheel setups for quick swaps.
