After clocking ~10.5k kms on my D390, the metz were almost flattened out.
SO just thought I will have some fun before getting the tire changed.

Now that is what is called some "SERIOUS RUBBER BURNING". But how come the tyres lasted only for 10.5k kms? Can someone throw light on that?

It's been over a year that we finished the trip, nevertheless, will try to complete the travelogue and upload it soon

Thanks buddy I have other another friend who had done 12k. His tires seem to last for another 3-4 k kms.
May be it depends on the riding style and the riding surface. I'm no expert in this.

I plan to do a 8-10 days road trip (approx 1.3 k kms over 10 days) with my wifey as a pillion.
Has any of you have done such a long trip with a pillion rider? Please share your experiences.
I was thinking as to what all arrangements i can make to carry the luggage.
Tank bag is one thing i will carry.
Can anyone suggest what arrangements/modifications that i need to make to carry luggage in the saddle bags? Currently i have the Cramster colt saddle bags.
