I just read your thread. Glad to know that you got a refund from the dealer.
However, when you originally bought it at ~3.8, did you consider Ninja 300 or a used Ninja 250?

P.S. : D200 never came with Orange mags out of the factory (unfortunately for me :( ). D390 comes with them.

Got a chance to test ride the Inazuma yesterday, Meghdooth Suzuki [Trinity Circle].

Positives
Excellent build quality, the best seats in the business.
Extremely refined.
Amazing ride quality.

Negatives
The pull could have been better, expected more grunt.
The front mud guard . Looks very very ugly.

@4X4 :- What mileage do you get in city riding ?

Curious, is this going to be stable mate of the N650 or are you shifting to this for more comfortable 2 up touring?

This is easily fixable. Just look at the pic of a modified Zuma a few pages back with the Duke mud guard (I think). Looks much better than the contraption being provided by Suzuki from the factory.

Yep, it will complement the N650. I am surprised you recall me owning a N650. I want a pure city bike with good ride quality.

4x4addict, hows the bike doing, do keep us updated

meanwhile, am planning or thinking of moving out of RE domain, and looks like only Inzuma fits my needs and budget.

I was keen to know, what speeds you can cruise at? and whats the top speed of the bike?

Look forward to hear from you. thanks!

I had four bullets before the Inazuma and I can tell you the only thing, I miss is the classic looks and the exhaust of the RE bikes. I am not a big fan of the Inazuma commuter looks.

100 to 115 kmph is a non stressed/fairly vibe free cruising speed range. Beyond that vibes start to make their way into the handle bar and footpegs.

Due to work related travel and foul weather in my hometown, the bike was with a friend in the plains, who gets it started and moved about once a week. Hope to get it back, once the weather improves.

Has anyone taken a test ride of the Inazuma in Chennai. If so, please let me know where to go /whom to contact for the test ride.
Planning to replace my Honda Shine with Inazuma in the upcoming Diwali season.

Call up, SMK Suzuki @ Porur. Ask for Sekar or Bharathi. Else, just walk in. They have a TD bike. I picked mine from there.

Hello, I need an advice on buying inazuma.
I currently own a RE thunderbird which is 4 years old and covered 30K Kms. My driving is 30kms everyday(not in peak hours) and occasional weekend trips.
Test drove the Inazuma and very much impressed with the bike. You can still use the bike for regular uses and it has the character for those long drives.
Current price is 2.49 OTR bangalore, bargaining for any diwali discounts

Biggest confusion : Is it worth buying the bike or Suzuki just wanted to clear off the existing stock and forget about selling the bike in India.
What would be the best buy, a new Inazuma or a used GT650 R at the same price?

Naveen, i would anyday buy a Suzuki, not confident on Hyosung!

Even am contemplating on buying Inazuma and it did come to my mind on what strategy Suzuki may have for this bike and hopefully they are not contemplating to discontinue this model here. however, am quiet certain Suzuki wont do that as the 250cc market is just picking up...

However, from what i have read/learned from people this bike definitely worth the money!

Just had a word with the Suzuki Service Manager at SMK. He says enough stock of spares has been done, to ensure they meet the demand as they have had increased sales since the price drop.

I had gone to get the centre stand fitted.

If you are worried about, future spares support I think it is safer to go with Suzuki than DSK Hyosung.

My dealer also has all the standard consumables/parts in stock. Anything else, he said, he can order with Suzuki and get in a couple of days, but with a Suzuki, I don't anticipate any major issues.

Wish you many happy kilometers with it!
Looks like Suzuki has come up with gw250f with a half fairing

The GW250F is fully faired. There's GW250S in some markets, which is the semi-faired one.
