Here you go. It's popularly called vee wipe. Here's the link where you can buy it.

Instead of the straight edge a slightly concave edge will clean the surface better as it will have better contact with the curved surface of the helmet visor.

This seems to be a very practical solution to the ever present problem not just in India but rather throughout the world when it comes to 2 wheel rides.
However I am really amazed if this really is a first.
Loads of geeks out there to have made this available much before now.

In rains i ride wearing these Ironclad gloves which have a synthetic leather surface on the palms.

This works very well for wiping the water droplets of the visor straight off !
I have survived some long rides with this pair in last year's monsoons.

Though stopping under a shelter and waiting the rains out is the best resort and it is best avoided to ride in a downpour unless absolutely required.

I understand the need!
I wouldnt prefer this product though as it would kill the visor's night usability instantly.

This seems to be a good innovative idea for riding through slush and splashed rain water

There is a simpler idea for continuous riding during heavy rains.
  1. Just get a Re.1 Shampoo sachet
  2. Wipe the visor clean.
  3. Smear the shampoo in circular motion onto the visor when its dry
  4. Wear the helmet and ride during the rains.

You'll see that the water droplets coming in contact with the visor wont stick more than a fraction of a second as the SURFACE TENSION of the water droplets get reduced and runs down the visor quickly. This will allow you to get a clear vision ahead of you

If you are a long distance NIGHT RIDER like me who doesn't care to stop for the rains until you start freezing, then do this.
  1. Tighten the visor screws well before you leave home during monsoons
  2. Remember to keep the visor partially open so as to allow the EXHALED HOT AIR from your nose/ mouth to escape through
  3. This will prevent the fogging of your visor and would help you ride without hazy vision from within the visor.

Safe and happy riding in the rains!

From my little experience, when the dirt is too much, even this wiper will fail. The only reason why it works in car is because, there's water additionally sprayed to wind shield

I feel it is better to take a break and clean the visor. During my long rides, at the breakfast/lunch/dinner/coffee breaks, after washing my hands and face at the hotel washroom, I wash and clean the visor too to get rid of the mortal remains of insects and other debris collected during the ride. Also, I scrub the visor with microfibre cloth during butt-breaks.

Good innovation but I would rather have a helmet whose visor is hydrophobic or some contraption that mounts a mini wiper blade for a motorcycle helmet! Funny but yeah why not.

Even better, visor up, look down, eyes up!

LOL! You crack me up all the time.

I use tobacco when it pours. lesson learnt at 6th std from a jeep driver ( the wipers never really worked those days). I still bank on them. wet it and rub it all around the wind screen or visor. Still works like a charm. The First time I asked for that my neighbourhood shop walla went saar ! then i explained. Now he sells more during monsoons.

The colin spray with vinegar works well too. always have that in my boot.

I have seen omnibus drivers do that long ago. They will also wash their face with aerated water (Soda), especially the relief driver when he wakes up to take the wheel.

This is what I use: The left hand thumb finger has a piece of wiper rubber embedded/stitched into it and is pretty useful to wipe away dirt etc.

Bought it from 'lets gear up' at Bengaluru.
