She is looking gorgeous. I think the chain top cover would have looked better if painted black instead of chrome plating (Just my view).
As for the bottle type fuel filter (magnetic), you can get them at Subha Autowares (the old one) near Attakkulangara.

Your bike looks beautiful. Are those tires tubeless radials? Can you give me more information about the tires?

Update, bought a honda activa type battery and it doesn't fit in the battery box

Wiring is complete, need to complete the engine wiring and connect the CDI, RR unit and flasher relay.

All lights work, the indicators were supposed to be here today. Looks like Monday.

Thanks Adrian, I too feel black would have been better, plating it cost a bomb and it's now paper thin. But it breaks the monotony in chrome, black would have blended in an it comes in chrome from the factory. May be once I get new rear mudguard it will look better. I got Bajaj suspended type filters, need to see if the bike runs lean due to less flow, in that case I will get something better. The look good and hopefully are functional. I couldn't go to the city today, else would have got the glass type filters.

Than Mr. O, No those are tube type tires, tubeless with spoke rims I nearly impossible, even the continental GT uses tubeless tyres with tubes in it.

Stanley ones are available online for 6k, it's way too much out of the budget.

Hoping to see some light at the end of the tunnel today, I might have a special guest coming home, details later

Don't remember that part and sold it within a year of ownership.

What I meant was, is that actually a tubeless tire? I mean, if used with an alloy wheel can it go without tubes? And which brand and what size?

Missed your post, sorry. These are tube type tyres, it came with the bike which has done less than 3k Kms before I was shelved, the wether in Delhi didn't make them hard either. The make is TVS, the size 300 width and the tyre dia is 18". Tyre upgrade I not in budget as of now.

In other news, I am little screwed with the wiring. I have 5 wires coming out of the magneto, 2 yellow, 2 blue and 1 green, the green is neutral switch and it works when connected. The yellow when connected to a RR unit gives a fluctuating DC current and I have no idea what th blue pair does. I will post som pics tomorrow. Have work tomorrow so need to sleep.

Good luck with the wiring. For me it was the toughest time to get things correct. Messed alot with the confusing circuits and too much of groundings. Less busy mind and loads of patience can get things fixed. We all are waiting to see the beauty on road. Cheers!!

Great going PramodKumar. I check the progress on your thread everyday without fail. Lucky you to get a very rare piece of history. Thanks for initiating the thread in the early stage. This way an entire episode will be covered and advises from the experts will also help in getting it done. I am eagerly waiting for the final result.
