Yamaha inaugurates Spare Parts Centre in Tamil Nadu
Yamaha has inaugurated a new Spare Parts Centre in Tamil Nadu. The facility is located in the premises of the company's Chennai plant with a total area of 30,000 sq.m.
Yamaha has made a total investment of Rs. 580 million in the facility. The centre is targeting to ship out spare parts the very next day of receiving orders. The part supply ratio will be 5% more than that of Bangalore warehouse which has been discontinued now.
At present, Yamaha has 20 spare parts distributors across 15 states and more than 3,000 spare parts retailers across the country for supply of genuine spare parts to its dealers and customers.
The company plans to maintain an optimum spare parts inventory at Surajpur and the new Chennai centre for the north and south zone respectively.
