Default Pulsar For Long Rides

Hey Guys,

I have been considering buying a bike for long rides around bangalore and have been toying with an idea of buying either a pulsar or a bullet.

After hearing everyones comments I guess I am tilted more in favor of the pulsar though I think it is still under powered

If you are looking for long rides then do test ride a Karizma as well, its better for touring than the Pulsar.

Pulsar is not under powered but highly tweaked for mig range but I feel bajaj should ensure to top end of new pulsar equal to the classic one.

Default Pls read this Bikerrocks!

Hey Bikerrocks,
250 kms! thats it! be careful my man i dont think you have even got your first service yet! but if you have to go for it Remember max speed 50kmph and 4500rpm. and I think you shd get your 1st service done before you leave. Its no big deal to get it done early.
And yes, your spot on abt the bike getting damaged in transit, The Train will ruin it. and if you get it couried even then its possibe. Trust me iv suffered. So if you can ride it down(and not unleash it) then Cheers and go for it.

You dont need anything special for riding 1000+ kms change your oil at regular intervals. Unless you are ripping it really hard in that case change at 1500-1700 kms
