Bad experience? You mean only A.S.S issue? That may be there for HMIL. But apart from that, have not seen anyone complaining about the quality of Honda.

Hi guys, wanted to change my ride(I currently own a UG2 Pulsar 150). I wanted to go for a Honda Unicorn and test drove it today. My observations:
1) Unicorn is more powerful than my Pulsar but Pulsar is more torquey.
2) Unicorn didn't feel very planted on the road. Is this a fact or it is just that I'm more used to my Pulsar?
3) Very Very refined.
4) Brakes lack the bite. When I asked the showroom guy, he told that brakes can be adjusted for more bite.
5) Smoother ride on bad roads.
6) Tacho very small.
7) Horn sounds like a moped.

Are my observations true? Please comment...

This thread is like who own what and the poll is how many own each of the bikes. Absolutely no comparison between the bikes from the person who vote.

Talking

1) Unicorn is more powerful than my Pulsar but Pulsar is more torquey.
donno with UG3, but UG2 150~uni. plus MUCH lesser gear changes - a good portion of that torque comes really early. and maybe you mistake pulsar's vibe/grunt for torque
2) Unicorn didn't feel very planted on the road. Is this a fact or it is just that I'm more used to my Pulsar?
-- probably in ur mind only
3) Very Very refined.
-- that is reason enough. plus it doesnt break down, and even then, Honda *** is way cheaper than HH, and almost same as BAL.
4) Brakes lack the bite. When I asked the showroom guy, he told that brakes can be adjusted for more bite.
-- i felt same in test mule, but i've seen friends' unis do much much better.
5) Smoother ride on bad roads.
--subjective
6) Tacho very small.
--subjective, but true - not as much fun to see rev like the pulsar's
7) Horn sounds like a moped.
Put the pulsar horn. That is incomparable. Many ZMA guys use it too

Default Hunk - Where?

My vote is for Unicorn!! I have driven the Unicorn, Pulsar and Apache.
Apache - Best pickup of the three. ANd best looks in the category. I personally feel the RTR 160 yellow color is the best looking bike in this category. But I felt the engine is power packed TVS 50 engine (absolutely my opinion).

Pulsar - Good pickup and power. But gearbox problems. Also, every other guy in the road rides a pulsar.

Unicorn - Best engine of the lot. Very smooth ride. I just got back my bike from fourth service yesterday and MAN - I feel great that I made the4 right decision. Relatively less pickup of the lot.

But why is the HH Hunk not is the contender list? According to Dec month Autocar/Overdrive(I dont remember), Hunk is supposedly better than Pulsar (though I have not driven Hunk).

I believe the RTR is already on the road since a while. Its pricing is similar to 150cc pricing and is in range of 60k-64K on road
