Negative Advice? If we were trying to tell you something which is not legal or safe how is it negative? I believe a car rim & tyre on a bike will severely hamper the handling & safety of your bike & thus all of us were advising you against it.

However, since you have gone ahead & done the modification please do post pictures & details here so we can also be enlightened as to how this is possible & what are the results like.

now, now iraghava, he didn't say he was going to ride it, did he ? he only said he is going to fix it. after fixing it, he has all the rights in the world to put the stand on & revvv like mad & burn the rubber in his own garage, man, c'mon.

Waittasec you monkeys, & ease up on the ridicule.

What samybravo wants is not pathbreaking at all, & I've seen it done on many Indian custom bikes. I could not elucidate on the point at all because of client confidentiality issues.

Maybe I can't understand English too well, but I simply wanted to know where he saw the negative advice on this thread. That's all.

sam - the rest of the bike looks pretty decent and I can imagine the hard work u have shed. But just be careful when u decide on the proportins of the whole design. The rear does not merge with the tiny front and a huge rear was just too big for the whole design itself. The rear is also raised a lot and will cause a lot of stability issues. welding and altering a swing arm is not all a good idea and the metal looses its torsional strength and leads to flexing at later stages.
Think of all this before u design a bike.

Don't quit modding dude - use these & other criticisms constructively & make it part of your learning curve...

Where would DC be if he paid attention to public ridicule...?
