Hey guys,

Had a quickie RD meet in Hyd. We had 5 RDs and one Pulsar 200. The Pulsar 200 was being run in so didn't get to play with it too much. The bike looks great - thought the stickering job was quite tacky.

The RDs as usual were tearing the roads apart. We also managed to get a few sneak peaks at some antique bikes.

You can see the pics at Had another interesting meet

awesome pics man:Cheering:

did miss it.

let us know the next time you guys are meeting.

P.S. if pulsar(non-rd350) can be invited why not CD100 (atleast i have a D and 0 in common with the name ;))

all vehicles allowed! Why.. we even had an Esteem with us the last time around....

hey ankur, you forgot to ping me on this one:mad: . I reckon i would have joined up on my pulsar 150

Where are the mirrors? Why dont most of these bikes have rear - view mirrors?

Well on RD 350 you don't need a mirror! All the objects in the mirror will be far behind and they don't even think about overtaking an RD. RD will be fastest, so logically you don't need one!!!!!!!

Thats a nice logic:p

@superavi, do you agree????

Crappy reasoning.

Why does, therefore, a Hayabusa have rear view mirrors?

Nice pictures katalyst. It must have been eternal bliss hearing the roar of a bunch of 2 strokes!

Hey Ravi, just enjoy the pics dude. The bikes are theirs, and if they deem it fit to have no rear view mirrors, so be it. Why do we argue?

Hey ankz, seems like you guys had an absolute blast. Looking forward to having a good time when I get an RD too.

Dude, you seem too uptight. Didnt you see the wit in the comment;)

Seriously, No.

I hate it when motorcyclists without rear view mirrors swing into the way of my car at high speed. Irrespective of what bike you're riding, I'd appreciate it if you looked at what's coming behind you.

And before you decide to dismiss me as another car owner, I own a bike too, and am looking for an RD (rear view mirrors, if I may add)

having and using mirrors are two different things. i have seen bikes with mirrors turned inside to face the driver itself. technically they still have mirrors. i haven't seen people using mirrors on bikes. they just nod thier heads and we have to assume the direction to which they intend to turn. hope things will improve soon.
the joke i had put was borrowed some someone in Lamborghini. His logic for providing a tiny little mirror in the centre of the the car. (don't know which model).

honestly superavi - that's a funny one... all new bikes on road come with rear view mirrors - does it stop them from swerving into your way? How many bikes that have swerved into your way have NOT had rear view mirrors.
Am sure the boys screw in their mirrors on long rides - but in city riding - it hardly makes sense :) Cars with rear view mirrors do a lot more "lane cutting" and swerving :)

I understand your sentiment.

Exactly.

I'd generally keep out of topics like this but Ravi dude you are converting this into a bikes v/s cars issue. None of the RDs I've ridden have rear view mirrors.

And say, the other day a Baleno threw me onto the tarmac since he did'e see I was overtaking (from the right mind you) and decided to swerve onto the fastest lane. And then he had the ball$ to run away without so much as looking back.

A friend of mine lost his life b'coz a car driver swerved into his way. My frend had to brake hard causing him to skid and a trailer ran over him (just 1 day before Holi).

You are just another car driver dude, and you can be forgiven for that...You don't need an RD, you'll just waste it.
