Default Thunderbird Production Year - help needed

I'm planning to buy a used Bullet - the year of registration is June 2005, however on inspecting the registration card, the year of manufacture is mentioned as 2003.

What could be the possible reasons?

A good chance s that the previous owner purchased an older motorcycle for some sort of discount, this is atleast common in slow moving four wheelers, which reminds me the enfields dont exactly set the sales charts on fire as well.

manson.

Hes actually trying to sell it as a 2005 model. What should the indicative price of a 2003 bike be? Done 13,000km. Are there any chances of trouble with a bike like this?

you could try and get the price down.

whether 2003 or 2005 check the appearance and test ride for left right balance hands off the bar and test ride means u ride the bike fast thru the gears and also go over small uneven patches of road, any weird noise of engine knocking, suspension or weak fork assy will immediately be noticed.

since u r new to bulls have a nice 20 minute ride to feel if u could live with that avl clatter (although a free flow will help to some extent).

all the best.

@Amit_D:Check for owner serial, it would be 2nd i guess. The bike is 2003 model, sold in 2005, so its a 2003 model. As for the price it depends on the condition, test ride the bike and it is already described what thing to check.
Happy buying
