I had always been interested in bikes and scooters since childhood, thanks for the long rides with my father and cousin brothers.
My dad had an Alwyn Pushpak and i started riding it (only controlling accelerator) when i was 6 years old by stnding in the scooter floor with dad controlling the scooter.......then one day as usual dad allowed me to control the throttle and i played with it and suddenly increased the throttle and voila.....the first accident in my life.....at age of 6 years
then dad prevented me from doing any more "circus" in scooters then on....
From the onwards my passion towards 2wheelers was focussed on bicycles...
The cycles i owned were
1) Hero Gen X series (BMX model) - wen i was in 4th std
2)Hercules MTB -6th std.....i loved this cycle very much but a thief stole it....
3)Hercules Topgear 5 speed - 8thstd to 12th std.....very good cycle it was....very comfortable for rides upto 10km

Then in my home a scooter was bought for my sister. It was a Black Honda Activa 2002 model. As my sister was not much interested in riding scooters ,mostly i got the scoot for riding.
Have been riding the activa for the last 4 years and then last week i got my first motorbike.......Yamaha RX 135 Tiger 4 speed, 98 model. The bike belonged to my cousin brother and he gifted it to me..(whoaa i lov my bro )
The Activa is a very good and reliable scooter and it was one of the platforms on which i tried out many "circus-es" .Even after riding it in horrible manner and not getting it serviced in regular intervals it surprises me even today with the fuel efficiency and smooth ride.
It was a pleasure riding all these 4 years in activa but after gettin the RX the ride in activa feels very booooooorin.....Really the RX is amazing in performance........

Sorry to make a long post and for being slightly offtopic
To summarise the bikes i own are
1)Honda Activa - 2002 model,22k on odo
2)Yamaha RX 135 Tiger - 98 model, odo not working....

Last set of two wheelers,, Hero Ranger, great bike, as a kid I took it anywhere possible in Kolkata, even to movies, riding three at a time.
Though I own personally a Spacio, I have my eyes set on a Yamaha Gladi, for my intracity escapedes.

Got hold of the ever elusive Yezdi/Jawa 350. Was so worked up with her that I blew the head gasket already! Bah Humbug! So I guess I've got another bike to work on, apart from the Matchess!
That takes my list to 7 bikes that I ride and own, all of which have names. Here they are:
1. A 1962 JAWA 250c single called "Betsy".
2. A 1980 Royal Enfield 350cc Bullet called "Honey".
3. A 1950 BSA C11G Plunger 250cc single called "Granny".
4. A 1983 Yamaha RD 350 (LT) called "Fastey".
5. A 1989 Honda CBR400F3 Endurance 4 cylinder called "Beastey".
6. A 1949-50 Matchless G3L 350cc single called "Eleanor".
7. Yezdi/Jawa 350cc twin called "Verushka".

i am a proud owner of a red Hero Honda Karizma. The bike i used to always dream about since the time it was launched.I wasn't much interested in bikes, untill i got my ZMA.She really turned me into a bike freak, never went out without, and have managed more than 20k km's in 2yrs.Also the thing that really makes me proud while i ride her is the fact that i bought her out of my own salary.Really treasure my possesion!!! Cheers!
