Smile My Bike

I learnt to ride a bike in 2005, got my Driving license in 2005. My first bike was Hero Honda Splendor plus.I used it for two years and learnt all biking skills on this bike, did long trips within the city more. I used to get around 70-73kmpl. I sold it off in 2007, it had completed 24000km. Next I went for Suzuki Zeus in 2007, it was not a head turner kind of bike but was VFM. I used it for less than a year and sold it off in 2008. I rode this bike for 14,500km. Mileage was pretty consistent in the 50 kmpl range. I then fell in love with Hunk and bought it in October 2008. This bike was very close to my heart and I had a nice partnership with this bike for 1.5 years. I never expected a great mileage from this beast and it never went beyond 40kmpl. But this bike had the best pickup in its class and overtaking with this bike was very cool. I sold it off in April 2010 after having it driven for around 15,000km.

I wanted to buy RXZ but my dad gave me 2 choices only. HH splendor or HH street.
Went with street for novelty sake.

2.Suzuki fiero 2001 - Still riding it. Done close to one lakh kms.

3.2007 Pulsar 200 - Done 28k kms.

5. Thinking of a Thunderbird.

I have been riding bikes on and off for the last 10 years.
1, RX-100. My dad's bike. Learned to ride on this beauty.
2, 2008 Suzuki Heat. I bought it with my one year's conveyance allowance. Now I use her mainly for going to the market, especially fish market. She is a no problemo bike.
3, 1975 Royal Enfield Bullet 350. Always wanted to get one. Finally got a good deal and having been riding the Bull for the last 1 year. I went on a solo trip to Kochi from Pune via Bangalore. The baby didn't even crib. She was hitting 100 on NH 4 and NH 47. Even the swamy roads of Kerala didn't do much to her.
4, Will get an 883 Iron if Harley introduces it here.
The following pic was clicked somewhere in TN (NH47) during my recent trip.

Currently own two...my first 'own money' two wheeler...a Kinetic Zing 80. Partially retired it in Sept 2009 when I bought the Hunk...

It is a Ebony Gray colour...done 14K kms...runs mostly stock...Two accidents already!

Note from the Team-BHP Support Team : Please take the time to use proper punctuation as per Team-BHP rules. Avoid...typing...like...this. Thanks.

I have been riding bikes for the last 14 or so years.
My first ride was a Kinetic Honda paid some 39k in around 1996.

Then I went to Delhi on work and stayed there for about 4 yrs and there my ride was again a borrowed Kinetic honda and later a kinetic Honda marvel.

Then back in Mumbai 02 and I bought a Hero Honda Passion for around 42-44k dont remember exactly and rode it for a good 60k kms. Later my brother bought a Honda Unicorn and we used to switch rides on and off. Later I got a chance to go to UK and it was time to sell my HH Passion. It helped me even when it was sold (bought the ticket to UK with that money).

Later when I came back to mumbai for some time I was riding a borrowed Hero Honda CBZ .
Later after a lot of research and help for T-Bhp I treated myself with a Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark proudly paid 108k for it.

First Bike it was actually Dad's Scooter LML Select 150 CC Two Stroke, what a scooter it was, very good handling for a scooter, used to smoke all the 100 CC bikes (4 Strokes),
Second was THE BOSS,TVS Suzuki Shogun, was with me for almost 7 years and more than 95k Kms,it was real beast, pick up,the sound, the handling was unmatched at that time, the way its engine used to rev till 11k RPM,and the accelaration for a 108cc pot,was too good, still miss the bike a lot.
The current one is TVS Vcitor 125 GLX,its boring bike, not that its bad.but its too reliable,in 50k KMs had only changed tyres one accelarator cable, only headligh bulb and Break pads,no other failure, but very smooth, comfortable good looking bike.
Am looking fron new apache hope TVS Comes with 250 cc or there is a rumor of new Apache Something Hyper in next month, lets wait and see.
