Was just wondering how many bikers we got here....and what they ride and have owned in the past. Start off with me.

been riding 10 years now.

First bike: '82 Suzuki GS425 ('96 - 2004)
2nd bike: '95 Suzuki GSX600 Katana ('99-'00)
3rd bike: '03 Bajaj Pulsar 180 ('03 onwards)
UPDATE April 7th 2005
4th bike: '97 Kawasaki ZZR 400 ('05 onwards)
Update: Beloved Kawasaki sold in September 2007.
5th bike: ??? May be here sooner than expected.

Surprise Surprise, I am an ex-biker!!

1994 - Kinetic Honda (Dont tell anyone)
1994-1995 - Yamaha Rx-100 (Loved it to death, but got flicked from the Gaiety cinema in Bandra)

I lust after the RD350 for its sheer brute, basic design and the exhaust sound at full throttle butttttttttttt cant buy one coz:

1. My folks would kick me out
2. Dont have the time for another high maintainence vehicle
3. My life would be reduced to another 12 months...max!

Now you really dig two wheels, dont you? How come this fascination with bikes at such a young age? Biker Father? Big Brother?

Yup, Rehaan guessed it. I had my Kaatana when i was in college in the States. Bought it for 2000$...in pristine condition, with a helmet, solo-seat conversion, D207's ...the works! Got it cheap coz I bought it when there was still snow on the ground! It sucked riding it back without gloves though.

Broke my heart to sell her, but I made 600$ on the deal. Some consilation! '

Back here, I can't afford the big bikes...but am always on the look out for a nice project bike. Adil...if you know of anything, do IM me pleeeeaaaaaasse!! I'll take your leftovers anyday !!

hmm.....
i loved bikes too when i was younger...

1) ind-suzuki ( 85-88 )

2) lml vespa nv scooter - ( 88-92 ) ...was a downgrade from the ind suzuki.. but was a scorcher of a scooter ..gr8 pick up ...did vashi to chembur in 9 mins flat !!!! except the engine everything else was broken including the handle !!! had it welded and it held up for a year and a half

3) suzuki shogun - ( 94 - 96 ) what a bike !!!!!!!! the best bike for speed maniacs with a magnificient sounding exhaust note !! and the best part was it was in all black with red stripes !!!!!! whoaaaa......... i get orgasmic feelings thinking about the things i have done on this beauty !!!!!

and then after 1996 moved to 4 wheelers.....

Have not actually owned one...but have ridden quite a few miles ona VFR 800 Vtec belong ing to a very good friend of mine....great bike....really opens up at 8000 rpm....great handler.......but the V four sound doesn't quite go down well in the local circuit......everyone prefers in-line fours....the sound I mean!!
