Default Bullet Upgrade - The Lighting Effect

As you all know I was never satisfied with my Bullets headlight. Thats the reason I upgraded to 14 Amp Battery getting a parallel charge and a Pair of Autopal Spot Lights...

You dont need that anymore...a month back threw the Minda dome of Bullet and boughts:

1. Lumax 7" Flat Glass Unit (universal unit which fits into a Amby etc) - 120 Rs
2. Philips Vision Plus H4 Bulb (also referred to as +50 bulb) - 225 Rs

The combination is awesome. I don't use my spot lights anymore and even the truck driver show me respect. The best part you dont need to fiddle with the electrics...all it needs is above mentioned change that would cost 345 Rs.

To know more about the bulb read it @ http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/accessory-parts-reviews/26471-philips-vision-plus-h4-bulbs.html#post502926

Cheers!

madbullram,

Could you take some pictures of the headlight unit?! I'd like to see the Lumax 7" Flat Glass Unit and how it looks on the Bullet.

Have taken your advice and changed the lights of my Bullet also.
The lights are just fantastic.

Thanks.

@madbullram
When i look at the headlights of the bullet after the change i don't see much of the change in terms of the looks ( sorry if i am not able to see the details). By any chance do you have pic of your bullet before the change. It would be a nice thing to be able to compare. or if you can pinpoint on the pic interms of the looks how it differs. Hope its not too much to ask.

By the way, i hate the headlights on the bull on highways they are pretty much non existant.

cheers

Since you have already tried the Amby headlight and night vision bulbs, may I ask how is the lighting and throw? Is it running on stock battery?

Is there any regular 7" convex lens beam to match output of that Flat lens of Amby?
Seems Minda beams are not up to the mark in delivering the potential of high end bulbs. I'm running philips extreme power in 6.5" Minda flat lens beam (regular, not the clear lens one) on my Electra. Though intensity, spread & throw is good, spacing between high-low beams is beyond adjustable range even with different bulbs. I prefer the looks of convex lens beam over a flat lens if its 7" size.
