+1 to that.

Btw, I payed a visit to the Pro biking showroom near Ruby Hall for a test ride of the new 220. Also, enquired about the Ninja and the sales guy completely refused to divulge anything. He said they don't know anything about the launch . Ironical!

Maybe too many people drop in and question them about the ninja... And that too for the last 2 years!

Last week had been to Khivraj Probiking for collecting a few documents. Spoke to the service advisor who had handled my first service. A very amiable person. Enquired about the Ninja launch in Bangalore. He said it should be in early-mid November. Khivraj is preparing a showroom separately for Ninja which is 1.5 kms from the Indiranagar probiking showroom.

The cost, as divulged by him was 3.2 lakhs on road!!!

Oh Boy! 3.2 L on road hmmm..Gosh thats expensive. We were speculating in the early part of 2L but, boy are we wrong or what ?!! Lets see during the launch. So the parts localization theory is not true ? Which route is the bike coming ? CB...?

Well Business standard is still quoting it to be between 1.5 to 2L but I wont be surprised at the 3.2L figure either.

Actually this is bad marketing practice. People who have held on and stopped themselves from not peeking into the Yaam showrooms, will shrug their shoulders once the 3.2L bit starts fluttering around.
Reason: Waiting period for Yaam's latest offerings.
I sincerely hope this does not turn into another great bike, bad pricing incident.

Pervez, it really depends on what one perceives as the right cost.

People have called Comet, Aquila & even P220 as overpriced.

You have to keep in mind that this is a proper Entry level sports bike by an International manufacturer & one which is currently the hot favorite in its segment.
