Mahindra's success with the Scorpio, further continued by the new Xylo speaks well about M&M's job execution capabilities and commitment values.
I have not read any news article about the same, but just going by their recent history I would not doubt them developing into a successful two wheeler manafacturer irrespective of the brand name they choose to continue with, Mahindra or Kinetic.

Excellent one mate. M&M and their naming conventions never fail to tickle me...

Here's the website of Mahindra 2 wheelers. Needs a lot of improvement. Looks like its being made by someone who was promised a 15,000 salary but given only 2K

Welcome to Mahindra 2 Wheelers

Basically what Mahindra's need to do here is to pull the curtains on this website and integrate a newer website in their 4 wheelers website itself. it'll be easy for people to find it there and please remove all the Kinetic relabellings from there. Further, they should sell it from their 4 wheeler dealers only. It'll give them much wider appeal and broadspread dealer/service network.

Last but not the least, it'll sell more than the Logan!

A search throws up more than a couple of threads on the topic of Mahindra 2 wheelers.

In Kochi, there is 2 wheeler showroom near the 3 theater complex, appropriately named "carbon di oxide", which used to be a Kinetic show room till a couple of days back.

Day before yesterday, the Kinetic board was down, and what I find is a "mahindra 2 wheelers" banner in place.

I was like w t h till I read the news of Mahindra's take over of Kinetic from here. I am no bike enthu. :-(

Default mahindra2wheelers

What are your thoughts on Mahindra2wheelers? Mahindra has purchased Kinetics 2wheeler segment production has already started.

Mahindra has retained the 250 dealers and has stated to be selling 3K Flyte scooters per month.

They are discontinuing the Italjet line up though and bringing in more motorcycles and gearless scooters aka Honda.

My initial thoughts are pretty positive. I had tested the Flyte while looking at a gearless before settling with Suzuki Access and I found it to be a great product but just more feminine. Mahindra is now targetting not just women but the youth.

It would be nice if they launch a Diesel touring bike.

Too bad the Blaze wont be there anymore. That is probably the only scooter, since I went independent, that ever made me had some fleeting thoughts about buying a scooter. In fact that is the only scooter that had a sex appeal! If Kinetic would not have taken out the original Italjet engine from that scooter I would have most probably bought one as well.

Otherwise in my book gearless scooters are something that only appear fit for women.

Mahindra two wheelers will definitely have the quality that you can reckon with but Hero Honda is just too good for any other two wheeler manufacturer in India.

WIll mahindra continue the collabration with Hyosung or will it just be SYM from now on? It seems that Hyosung were only meant for Bikes and Sym for scoots. Having the comet and Aquila sold officially would work as a great brand building exercise.
